December 31, 2007 - Luckily, I found One Small Child and here I found the perfect christening gown |
Late in the evening of Sept. 3, I received an email from my daughter in law asking if I would send her daughter's christening gown over so her new baby Molly could wear it for her christening on the 16th. I quickly emailed back asking if I could find one specially for her and get it there before the 16th, if that would be OK. It was and I started searching the web. I couldn't find the site I purchased my first grandaughters dress from, but luckily, I found One Small Child and here I found the perfect christening gown for Molly. I emailed the link to my daughter in law and she immediately said YES YES YES that's the one: Erin christening gown with shamrocks. I called first thing the next morning and said I needed it no later than the 14th. Last night, (Fri), I got another email that said Molly had received the gown that day and that it was BEAUTIFUL. I won't see it until the baptism, but I am so pleased with the promptness of the delivery (this gown was not a stock item) and with the friendliness of the gal I ordered from. This is a website that will be in my favorites for a long time. I'll email a picture of Molly in her 'Erin' christening gown for the photo gallery. Thank you for this gift to my grandaughter. You made this already happy grandma, even happier...Susan
PS I work for our local Catholic church and am always asked where to get good 1st communion dresses. This is a site I can and will wholeheartedly recommend, not only for your promptness, but also for the beautiful pictures on your website. It made ordering on line more assuring. |

December 28, 2007 - I ordered the 'Lucy' Christening Gown. |
The Gown was breathtaking. I found the whole ordering process was smooth, delivery was on time and the gown came in perfect condition. I ordered the 'Lucy' Lace Christening Gown. The gown fit was perfect. My daughter Shiloh looked beautiful. Shiloh was Christened at St. Michaels and All Angels Church in Toronto. Parishioners passed comments such as 'gorgeous', 'delicious', 'beautiful', 'I have never seen anything like it'. Only to name a few. One Small Child you have a big fan here in Toronto, Canada. This was all worth it.

I love the fact that most of the christening gowns at One Small Child are shown on children.
I got a good idea of what it looks like. I love the many different views of the christening gowns. I really got a good picture of what my daughter might look like in the things I purchased. I also love the fact that you can chage the information at the check out all the way to the last page. In case you make a mistake at check out , you can correct it and not have to start all over. I found a slip for a Christening Gown on this site that I could not find in stores - it was delivered on time, in excellent condition, made of good material and finished nicely. I am very happy with the product. I am using it underneath a crocheted christening gown and it sets the yarn off beautifully. |

There were several christening gowns that I wanted but the gowns that I wanted the size was not listed , then I phoned the company hoping that the christening gowns could possibly be ordered. I spoke to customer service and they made it possible for me to order the gowns and it arrived on time.

I wanted to tell you how very impressed I was with your company when I ordered my daughter's Baptism gown. Such prompt service and everything arrived perfectly!
Jaws dropped as Emma slipped into her "Memory" gown. Everyone asked me if it was mine or my grandmother's. I told them where I purchased it and told them it was exactly what I was looking for. You have such a variety and great prices too. My Aunt said it was the most gorgeous gown she had ever seen.
We had Emma's photo taken in the dress after the Baptism and people in the mall literally stopped and walked into the photo place just starring at her and could not get over the dress.
