Dating problems Asian women face

There are many types of interracial dating and one of those would be dating people of Asian decent.  Dating people of an Asian background is probably one of the most discriminated against dating.  When people or even mostly Asian women date outside of the race several things occur.  One thing that occurs when Asia women date interracially is that they are looked upon as some kind of deviant sex creature that is submissive to the male in any way the male wants.  The second thing that happens is from people of a similar culture and they may be looked upon as betraying their race.  Asian people have very strong ties to their families and the history and sometimes when they date outside of their race their family may very well feel betrayed by them.

Asian dating can be difficult on whomever the Asian person is dating also.  They may not be approved of from his or her family.  Again there are very strong ties to tradition in the Asian culture and many families of Asian decent are very traditional in their beliefs.  So in situations like that it is hard for a person that is not Asian to be accepted in the family.  At first this is usually the case and eventually the family will see how the person is and grow to love him or her and accept them into the family.  But sometimes this does not happen and the Asian person must choose between their family that they love and the person who they are in love with.  This is sometimes a very hard choice and no one should ever have to make that kind of choice.

Although the previous situation is very difficult to go through the Asian person actually found a good relationship and was lucky.  Sometimes when Asian women date outside of their race the man that they are dating may not be the right guy.  Many times men see Asian women as very submissive and they expect them to be so.  Also many men imagine Asian women as some kind of sexual slave that is there to do their bidding.  These kinds of stereo types are not true of Asian women.  These types of thoughts may have been placed in many men’s minds due to the many westernized movies of Asian women playing these types of roles.  This is not the case though and when an Asian women is dating someone that is not of her culture they may have this notion and when the Asian women is not what the man was expecting there could be problems.  Although it is better to discover this type of issue in the beginning of the relationship than later on when feelings can really get hurt it is still upsetting to everyone involved. 

Interracial dating can be difficult enough but when people go into relationships with preconceived notions in their minds about how people will be because of their ethnic background it carries a dark shadow on the whole situation.  Asian women that date outside of their race have enough to worry about when it comes to people accepting their relationship without having to go through a bunch of macho men that only want to date them to fulfill some sick sexual fantasy.

Interracial dating can be a wonderful experience for those who are open to it and although most of society supports interracial dating there are still those who oppose it.  These people should just be avoided and ignored and you should do what you want and live your life happily.
