Interracial Dating

Interracial dating and interracial marriages are something that at one time could not even exist in our society.  Interracial dating and interracial marriages were actually against the law and many places had strict rules about interracial dating.  Of course those were completely different times then today and a completely different type of society.

Today’s society is much more open about interracial dating and interracial marriages.  There are many more interracial couples now then there were only forty years ago.  It is amazing what can happen in only forty years.  Of course there are still those people who are very close minded and ignorant but the world holds all types of people and that kind of mind set is fast fading away.

If you talk to the youth of today you will get much different answers to questions about interracial dating then you would have gotten thirty or forty years ago.  Teenagers in the past would probably not have even answered any questions about interracial dating or for that fact they probably would not have even been asked about the subject. Today’s youth for the most part does not see any issues with the subject.  In fact most of today’s teenagers have been in some kind of interracial relationship or at the very least they are open to an interracial relationship.

Most kids today are even of a mixed race background. Or of a multicultural background.  There has been so many generations of interracial dating and interracial marriages that there are plenty kids today that can claim two or more races.  Something like that would have been kept very quiet like a dirty little secret only a few decades ago and now children proudly wear their heritage on their sleeves.

Interracial dating and interracial marriages and relationships have taken on their own identity now.  There are even web sites that specialize in interracial dating.  There are web sites that are online dating services but they really only specialize in interracial relationships.  They are a dating service that helps people of different races and cultures meet and hopefully fall in love.  The web sites will have black men dating asian and white women, they will have asian men dating black and white women, and they will have white men dating black and asian women.  Or any other race or culture mixed in with other cultures.  These websites want to make couples and they do not care about anything else. The people that have memberships to these web sites are more likely to date people who are of another race than there own and they know that they will find like minded people on these web sites.

Interracial dating has gone from being against the law to having its own online dating service.  Really this has been an ongoing growth pattern for many, many decades but there have been huge advancements in the last four or five decades.  In the 1960’s in the United States you would never have found any one who would run an interracial dating service or allowed anyone to either in certain parts of the country.  Today there are actually web sites that are specializing in interracial dating.  That is an enormous leap for human kind.
