Interracial Dating

Interracial children..the product of interracial dating.

Interracial dating can result in some very wonderful things happening.  Interracial dating can not only have two people fall in love and get married but they can also create some very beautiful and loving multi racial children.  Interracial dating is something that was at one time actually against the law to do and now it is a much more socially accepted occurrence.

Multi racial children are the most amazing product of interracial dating.  Interracial dating can produce very much loved children.  It at times can also produce some issues when raising those children but when a child is raised in love they will find ways to over come certain issues.  Multi racial or interracial children may find it hard to decide if they have to choose one race over another or if they have to choose one religion over another.  Sometimes both or all of the races that are combined in this beautiful child or children will see them as out casts and not accept the children into their race at all.  But when a child is secure in themselves and who they are that will not really matter.  And more often than not especially in this very racially diverse world we live in a multiracial or interracial child is accepted in any race that they belong to.  And in fact there are enough multi racial children in the world today that they will typically find plenty of other multi racial or interracial children to be accepted by. 

Sometimes when people date interracially they do not consider the results of an interracial child. Now again in years prior to today there were many more issues with multi racial children and the issues that they would have to deal with, the parents that were in an interracial relationship and also the multiracial child. But now that interracial dating has become much more socially accepted the issues that the children have to face are much less than even a few decades ago.  The difference between the issues that multicultural children today face that the interracial children of a century ago are completely different.  There were even laws that would define what race an interracial child could claim.  Today that is not the same way.

There are not nearly as many issues with interracial dating today as there were years ago.  Of course there are still some ignorant people with ignorant ideas and that will become less and less over the years to come but as for now they still exist to some extent.  Again it is nothing like it was years ago.  Interracial children have a much easier time now than they had before.  Decades ago interracial children were forced to hide certain parts of their own heritage.  If they were light enough to pass for white children they were made to ignore and deny their African American, latino, or Native American heritage.  They were told to act white and be white. If there “secret” ever became public it would be a nightmare that they would have to face.  Could you imagine the pressure that would be put upon a small child if that was ever known to them?  Many times they were not even told until they were much older and it would be entrusted to them to not let anyone ever find out.  Some interracial or multiracial children of prominent families could actually destroy the entire family if their secret was found out.

Children that are products of interracial dating today do not have those kinds of issues at all and thank goodness that times have changed so much.  Being an interracial child is a wonderful thing.  It is a beautiful blend of culture and heritage that is making our world so very amazing today.
