Have you ever dreamed of spending your summer days in a beautiful log cabin with wonderful views of the Smoky Mountains? Waking up and eating breakfast on your porch or balcony, the quiet and relaxing sounds of the rippling river or the birds chirping. This doesn't have to be a dream you can live this life.

Pigeon Forge is located in east Tennessee and it is surrounded by the Smoky Mountains National Park. It's the perfect real estate investment, you can spend your summer days in your log cabin and make it a rental property for the rest of the time. The real estate market in this town is awesome, there are estates, large acres of land for building, chalets, commercial and development property opportunities. But don't take my word on this, take a week and visit this town and stay in a Pigeon Forge cabin and get the feel for it. You will have plenty of things to do to keep you busy.

Let's look at some of what you can enjoy in Pigeon Forge.

First off this town is the home to the legendary amusement park Dollywood Theme Park, yes it's Dolly Parton our famous country singer. It's filled with many things to do and see, starting with entertainment to great food. This is not the only park, there are other water parks that the kids will love, as well as indoor/outdoor go cart racing, arcades, laser tag, petting zoos, aquariums and theme rides. Now for the adults there is championship golfing, NASCAR Speed Park, live comedy music, drama, and more golf. And we won't forget the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

The Smoky Mountains is filled with many outdoor adventures. You can take your son out on a boat for a fatherly son day of fishing on the Little Pigeon River, while the girls enjoy a picnic or a hike down one of the many trails.

Let's look at the different seasons in Pigeon Forge and what adventures you can do during the changes of weather.

During the spring in Pigeon Forge you can spend your days in the Smoky Mountains picking a bundle of wild flowers, and there is a really good chance that you will see an array of new life – deer, rabbits and maybe even a bear cub. This is the time that many of the animals give birth. With the temperature between 60 and 70 during the spring you can expect the most optimal time for hiking and biking or even spending a relaxing day fishing. And golf is the best during the spring.

Summer will offer you many different adventures, and because of the warm weather you can spend an entire day at one of the water parks or outdoor attractions that Pigeon Forge has to offer you. The last summer I spent here I went white water rafting for the first time. It was great, and I plan on doing it again this year.

Fall season in Pigeon Forge is a great time of the year to sit in the Jacuzzi that is offered by your Pigeon Forge cabin rental. You can even warm up to spend a few hours shopping at the local stores and get your Christmas shopping done early. The night air during the fall season gets pretty chilly so enjoy the daytime sunshine as best you can.

Winter is the fun time, especially if you are looking to spend a romantic time snuggling up in front of the fireplace or if you are in need of a relaxing and peaceful vacation. The beautiful snow caped mountain peaks are absolutely wonderful.

No matter what time of the year you spend in your very own Pigeon Forge log cabin you can expect that it will be a great experience. There are many wonderful adventures that you can go on and have many stories to share with your friends and family.
