Fashion statements have been known to come and go in this world but there are some that stay around for a long time.  Ugg boots are one of those statements.  Ugg boots have been around for many, many years and in all of that time ugg boots have made a lot of different people very happy.

Ugg boots are made of natural Australian sheepskin and they have been made in Australia for many, many years.   This is how Ugg boots have always been made.  They have not been very attractive looking foot wear but they made up for their “ugliness” in their comfort.  The name “uggs” actually come from their look.  Uggs were very popular with Australian surfers.  The boots would allow the foot to stay dry and warm on cold and wet days and they would also keep the foot cool on very hot days.  Surfers loved to wear Uggs for these reasons.  Coming out of a cold ocean and sliding into a warm pair of Uggs is exactly what made them so desired among the surfers.  The Australian surfers would take their beloved Uggs to many different parts of the world with them while they traveled around surfing.  After awhile other surfers from other countries who were not familiar with ugg boots started to notice them and love them.  Ugg boots became very popular after a little while and now they are extremely popular among people all over the world, and not just people who surf.

Today there are other foot wear and boots that are also called uggs and these are very stylish types of shoes.  Ugg boots can be found in many different styles for men and different styles for women also.  There are even very stylish uggs for children.  You can of course get the traditional Ugg boot to wear but there are other styles of Ugg boots to get.  You can also find many ugg slippers or casual shoes.  The internet is full of stores and online shops that sell these products.  You can find ugg boots in many different colors now too not just the natural colors you would find in earlier years.  Along with the styles of heeled boots and casual slippers to wear, they also have given you a choice of many different colors to add style to your feet.

If you are big fan of traditional style uggs you can still find them online in many of the stores there.   You can also find these traditional uggs along the north shore of Australia where they became so popular many years ago.  There are still plenty of surf shops that sell their precious Uggs and would not give them up for anything.

For all of those people that are totally against the wonderful boot they must understand why so many people really love them.  You see it has been with uggs as it has been with many other items that were a “fad” or a popular culture item.  Either you really love them  or you are in a group of people that are completely anti uggs.  That is just the way that it goes and that is just how people feel.  They either passionately love their uggs or they passionately despise uggs.  But it is easy to say that the reason the people who are anti uggs are against them would most likely be because they do not have a pair themselves and do not know the comfort that the ugg boot can give to someone who wears them.  So I say to all people who are anti uggs, get yourself a pair and then see how you feel.
