Ugg boots are one of the most popular if not the most popular type of boots that there are in the world.  Everyone all over the globe knows what an ugg boot is and what an ugg boot looks like.  These natural sheepskin boots called uggs have become one of the best boots to own ever.

Ugg boots started out many years ago in Australia and were worn by many people there for a long time.  in all actuality ugg boots were first created over 2oo years ago and have been a favorite of many Australian people.  the ugg boot evolved into what it is today and people just love them.  the ugg boot was worn by many of the Australian surfers called “surfies” during the early 1970’s and even before.  These surfies would wear their ugg boots all over the place and especially right after they had just come out of the water.  There is nothing better than coming out of a chilly ocean and slipping into a warm pair of uggs that are keeping your feet warm and dry and comfy.

While the surfies would continue to wear their uggs all over Australia they would also take their ugg boots with them whenever they would travel to distant places.  Of course a die hard surfer is going to travel around and check out what the surf is like in other parts of the world.  So when they did they would of course bring their ugg boots.  Once they were in other parts of the world the Australian surfers would show their friends from other countries their great uggs and how perfect they really were for someone who surfs.  The other surfers from other countries were soon begging their Australian friends for a pair of uggs.  So once the Australian surfer would return home to Australia they would have to send out plenty of pairs of ugg boots to all of their friends all over the world.  This is how the ugg boot became so very popular.  They were not created one day and the next day they were the newest fashion craze.  But when they became popular they really took off.

The one thing that so many people find so annoying about the ugg boots is that they are not attractive at all. In fact that is how they got their name, ugg is short for ugly.  These ugly boots are just so comfortable that their looks just do not matter. Even the most famous of people who are entirely into fashion will wear their favorite pair of ugg boots out on the town because they are so comfy.  Ugg boots can be seen on the feet of many famous celebrities and people like that not only because they are a fashion trend but because once you own a pair of ugg boots and you wear them you will never want to take your ugg boots off of your feet. You may want to fight the urge to sleep in your ugg boots.  Although there are actually some ugg slippers that you may want to sleep in but that is for another time.

Today you do not have to hang out on the beach and hope that you run into an Australian surfer to get yourself a pair of ugg boots.  You can simply go to the local mall and you are sure to find a pair of ugg boots for yourself.  If there are none that you like in the mall or a local store you can always order your ugg boots off of the internet as there are plenty of places to get them there.
