Persuasion Techniques Part 3

Rapid Persuasion via Repetition

Repetition creates compulsion because it 'stick' in the mind of the prospect, often by brute force. The following constitute some of the most common persuasion techniques via repetition.

Alliteration: Use of repeated initial letter.
Dripping Tap: Use of similar words across sentences.
The Hammer: Use of a steady sequence of a single word.
The Jackhammer: This is the usage of rapid sequential repetition.
Jingles: Musical ditties.  Nice and effective in ads
Motto: Enough of these short phrase can hammer a point home.
Nagging: Persistent requests. Your mother in law mastered this.
Rhyme: Repeated sounds. Kid's fave tactic.
Slogan: repeated promotional message.  Uncle Sam wants You. Or Else.
The Triple: Say things in threes. Ah. A fave among witches.
