Eight Critical SEO Techniques

1) Title Tag - This tag attracts both search engines and web visitors, so ensure that keywords are present all throughout. Avoid the trap of stale sounding titles because its the first thing people see on the search engine. "How to Make Money Tonight" is better than " Welcome to the Money Site"

2) ALT Tags - ALT tags are intended to be for text browsers because the images didn't show in text browsers and the ATL tags would tell the visitor what it's about. Primary keywords should be present here.

3) Link Popularity - The more sites you have pointing to you, the greater your search engine rankings. Good SEO experts find relevant sites and initiate an exchange of links. Be wary to avoid spammy sites- linking to them can kill your own credibility and lead to deindexing.

4) Keyword Density -  Deploy mission critical keyword(s) once in the title tag, once in the heading tag, once in bold text, and get the density between 5% to 20% . Overdoing this can lead to you being stricken from the google index.
