Power of Persuasion

Last weekend, I attended a persuasion power workshop that was derived from NLP. What the NLP practitioner struck me:

"The best persuaders are those who take to heart the needs of both parties."

Stop and think about it. Isn't that a superior way of winning hearts and minds? This is a far cry from coercive persuasion often taught in sales management classes these days. Genuine interest in mutually beneficial outcomes strengthen relationships for the longterm!
