Then there is another way of playing.  If you get a pair you can choose to play the normal hit me way or just stay at twenty, or you can choose to spit the two cards apart.  You will have to ante up for the spit, but this will also give you two shots at winning. 

Just like every other table game in all the casinos or online poker there will be a maximum and a minimum to your betting.  This kind of game takes some thought process.  Look around your table and see what cards are out.  You may get a feel of what might come your way if you decide to take a hit.  You should always keep the dealers cards in your mind.  Remember you are playing against the dealer not the other people on the table.  So if you have a seventeen and the dealer has a sixteen you should stay with what you have.  The dealer will have to take a hit.  You have to read the dealers hand because you are only shown one of his cards.  So if you see a six, you should assume he has a sixteen.  If you see a ten or a face card you should assume he has twenty or blackjack.
