Online blackjack is played the same way as regular blackjack and you will typically get paid the same way in both online blackjack and also brick casinos.  Players will keep getting cards or not get any cards depending until they are all satisfied with the amount that their hands total.  Then the dealer will do the same thing.  If the dealer has less than seventeen they must automatically take a card or a hit.  If the dealer has seventeen or more then they do not have to take any more cards or stand.  When all of the hands are done including the dealer’s then the winners are paid out.
