The Go-Giver

I love this little book. It's a simple story that shows how you can achieve success in business, and in life, by following Five Laws of Stratospheric Success.
Some people may call its basic premise simplistic but if you read it with an open mind you're likely to learn something that you can put to use - I know I did. At the very least it's an enjoyable read.
Co-written by authors Bob Burg and John David Mann, The Go-Giver tells the story of an ambitious young man named Joe who yearns for success. Joe is a true go-getter, though sometimes he feels as if the harder and faster he works, the further away his goals seem to be. During the course of his search, Joe learns that changing his focus from getting to giving—putting others’ interests first and continually adding value to their lives—ultimately leads to unexpected returns.
