When you are trying to find a discounted flight try looking at some of the web sites that are online. These web sites will offer plenty of discounted flights for your convenience. You can find one that leaves near to the time that you would like to leave and arrive when you want to arrive.  They may not have a discounted flight that will be at the exact time that you want to leave and arrive but it will usually be pretty close or around the time of what you would like.

Many of the airlines will offer discounted flights if you purchase a ticket well in advance of the time when you actually want to leave.  If you buy the ticket months in advance the price of the airline flight is much cheaper than normal.  Also if you purchase a ticket just before the plane leaves you will get a discounted rate and you will be able to pay much less for the airplane ticket.  The airline would much rather get a lesser amount of money for the seat than get nothing at all.  This is why they will lower the price of the seat and you can get a discounted flight ticket.  Some money is defiantly better than no money at all.  Although you may want to make sure that your travel plans could be adjusted just in case you do not get a seat on the flight you wanted and will have to take the next one or even one after that.

The key to getting a discounted flight is to be flexible in your travel plans.  If you are more flexible in when you leave and when you return you will find that there are many more discounted flights for you to get.
