Another way you can look for cheap flights is to go through the airline itself.  Again if you need to be somewhere at an exact time this really will not work for you but if you schedule is more open it is perfect.  Now this is the way that you can save a great deal of money when you are looking for cheap airline flights.  You have to wait until pretty much the last minute though to purchase the ticket.  You see the airline would rather sell the ticket for a seat on the plane at a much discounted price than receive no money at all for it and have the seat empty.  If they fly with the seat empty they make no money at all but if they sell the seat as a cheaper flight ticket then they at least make a little something on the seat.  This is a really great deal for those people who are not on any time schedule.  Because sometimes there are no empty seats to purchase and you will have to wait until the next flight to try again.  But if you can get a ticket like this then you will save a lot of money and it is totally worth it.
