In Clearwater Beach a town just north of Clearwater there is a very large marina where many boats await you to take you out to the sea.  On the sea you could dolphin watch or fish or rent some extreme vehicles for the adrenalin junkie.  Some people just like to watch all the boats come and go and witness something they usually do not see where they live or perhaps watch the boats and relive some childhood memories that they can not see in the mid west where they live now.
