Florida Vacation On One The Beautiful Beaches

If someone was looking to take a beach vacation they should look no further than the sunshine state.  Florida is covered in beautiful beaches for you to take your beach vacation on.  Florida has had their beaches on the list of the top ten beaches in the world for many, many years.  There are even times when they have more than one beach on the list.

A Florida beach vacation may be exactly what some people need to relax.  The ocean and the beach have a very calming effect on people and especially those who enjoy the water.  Some people despise the beach but for those who love it there is no substitute anywhere else.  The beach is a wonderful place to be and for a vacation you can not ask for anything better than a Florida beach.

Now in Florida there are many beaches and depending upon what part of Florida you are in the beach will be a little different.  First, on the beaches near the Gulf of Mexico offer a very fine white powder like sand on its beaches.  These are some of the most popular beaches in Florida.  There is almost 20 miles of what some would call “perfect” beaches along the coast.  Places like Panama City offer many hotels for anyone who would like to stay and enjoy the beaches on their vacation. 

Most people who stay in this part of Florida for their beach vacation tend to be a bit younger.  Many college students come here each year and Spring Break can get a little crazy.  Not only does this area of Florida offer beautiful beaches but during the summer time the water in the Gulf of Mexico is very warm and usually a crystal clear.  The water tends to have a emerald green color to it and looks sometimes magical.  This is the perfect water environment for many water sports.  Along these gulf coast beaches it is usual to find many people enjoying their beach vacation by para-sailing,  jet skiing, and even sea plane rides.  There are also many boats sailing around the beautiful water.  There are many boats that are available for rent or for sight seeing.  Tons of people enjoy their Florida beach vacation by dolphin watching, diving, snorkeling and even fishing.  These are all activities that one can do on their beach vacation and would help anyone enjoy themselves and relax.

On the other side of Florida there are beaches that offer beaches with a bit coarser sand and it tends to be more of a cream color than white but still beautiful in its own right.  Along the southeast side of Florida there are places like Miami and Ft. Lauderdale.  Here you will find bustling cities and many tourists and locals alike.  Both places offer many things to do than just going to the beach.  Both cities have a very big business district and cater to families, vacationers, and business people every day.  In Ft. Lauderdale there are many waterways that go throughout the city which offers many places for people to travel to with their boats.  Along these canals and water ways there are actually many restaurants and places to stop at while traveling on the water ways.  There are many museums and even a zoo outside of Miami.  Along the southeast part of Florida and along the Atlantic coast there are many things to keep everyone in your family entertained for your entire vacation.  If you do not feel like spending every day at the beach and want to do some site seeing this coast of Florida will offer many places of culture for you to go to.  Florida has some great beaches to see and many other things to keep you all entertained, so finding something to do there will never be a problem.
