One of the best places to stay while on vacation in the great sunshine state of Florida, would have to be in a vacation rental.  That is right, staying in Florida vacation rentals offers some really wonderful amenities for people.

Now hotels are wonderful and many people do love them.  They have the total vacation feel to them, especially when you are vacationing in Florida.  But I have to say that renting a vacation home in Florida in some ways can be much better than staying in a hotel in Florida. So we have a maid service and a pool so far.  Many hotels also offer a place to work out in with some weights and different types of machines to work out on.  There is also room service.  Now many people love room service and use it frequently however there are other families that can not or do not want to pay as much as it costs for room service so they do not use it at all.  Oh and do not forget about the ice machines.  Ice machines make the hotel especially if your room is right next to it.

Those are all wonderful things that a hotel has to offer to you while you are on vacation in Florida.  Now let us look at what kind of amenities you can get from renting a vacation home instead of staying at a hotel.  There are sure to be a few of them.

First off renting a vacation home in Florida gives you a chance to have some piece and quiet.  Even if you are on vacation with your family you will probably pay around the same price for the vacation home rental as the hotel rooms.  Now it is true that in a hotel there is someone to come in and make your bed up for you but there is no way for you to know for sure that your sheets are clean and fresh.  When you make your own beds you know exactly how clean they are.  The rental homes will come with sheets usually and there is probably some form of washer and dryer.  Remember this is someone’s functioning home so all the comforts of home will be there also.  You can also go out and pick up some sheets if you wanted to, just to make sure that they were exactly what you like.

Now let’s take a look at the pool.  Now if it was another place besides Florida I would say that the hotel will definitely have a pool and you do not know always if there is going to be a pool and usually there is not. However EVERYONE in Florida has a pool.  So the chances of the rental home you are choosing will have a pool and just to make sure you can request that you rent a home with a pool so there is no issue later on.  That means that they are sure to have a pool service that comes out and does everything you need to have done and there are no worries for you and your family.  Also by having your own private pool to use you can relax a bit. There will be no screaming children splashing and jumping around like at the hotel pool.  Well unless your children are splashing and then it is ok because they are you children.  There are just so many more comforts to renting a Florida vacation home that you should get online and check them out for yourself before your next vacation.
