Blackjack is a very simple game at heart.  And even with some of the finer points of the game blackjack is still easy to learn and to play.  One of the reasons that it is so popular with people is because it is the only game where the house's odds are not as high and the player has a better chance of winning than the house does.  This is one of the reasons that you will see so many blackjack tables in casinos. Not only is it a popular game and many people love to play it but the casino has to make their money back somehow so they add more blackjack tables.

So if you are new to blackjack or you have played for many years there is only one basic rule that is above all the other rules.  Win.  That is it just win.  Your only job when playing blackjack is to beat the dealer.  If you are not sure what a split or a double down is do not worry, you do not even have to play the game like that.  You can just try to beat the dealer on each hand.  You just want to make sure that you have more in your hand than the dealer has in theirs.  Of you want to make sure that the dealer will have too much and you will win the hand that way.  You are not playing against other players in the game of blackjack and that may be why people who play the game find that they tend to give a lot of advice to people who have not really played the game before.  There is a bonding that goes on at blackjack tables that does not happen anywhere else in the casino.

When you are playing blackjack at the table and you are not really sure about what to do with your hand, should you hit or should you stay, you can feel comfortable about asking the other people at the table what you should do.  You are certainly allowed to talk to the other players at the table and they are more than capable of telling you how you should play your hand.  Of course if you are playing with people who all have just started playing you may not want to ask their advice but mostly people have some very good advice for you and what you should do with your hand.  They will usually give you advice that will allow you to win the hand and that is after all what we all want when we gamble and play blackjack, we want to win.

Many people play blackjack all the time and some only play when they are able to vacation to places where gambling is legal. Either way the love of playing blackjack is something that everyone who plays the game can enjoy.  There is a great thrill when you win a hand of blackjack and when you actually get a blackjack everyone at the table gets excited for you.  Blackjack is a great game and with so many people loving to play the game it is no wonder that blackjack has become the most popular gambling game to play over the years.
