Not only is blackjack an easy game to play it is an easy game to learn. So if you have never played it before you can rest assured that you will know how to play blackjack with in only a little while. Blackjack is the most popular gambling game that there is today. When you walk into any casino you can tell that right away by the amount of blackjack tables that is spread through out the casino floor. Blackjack tables are always much more numerous than that of any other gambling games no matter how popular they tend to be. Not only is the game of blackjack popular and easy to learn, most casinos will actually offer classes on how to play the game. That is right they will actually teach you how to play and win at blackjack. Now as a child we played the game when I was at my grandparent's house. They had a huge coffee can full of pennies that we would all sit around and play with. So my education of the wonderful game of blackjack started early. If a small child can learn the game it must be easy to learn right. There are many different ways that you can learn to play blackjack. There are online courses or even finding a group in your community. These are a few ways to learn how to play. You can even read an article online or read a book or a magazine and learn how to play the game. Blackjack is that easy to learn. Basically you are trying to beat the dealer, only the dealer and no one else at the table. It does not matter what the guy next to you has as long as you beat the dealer. You have to get closest to the number twenty one with out going over and it has to be more than the dealer has in his or her hand. That means that if the dealer has two or more cards that add up to 18 than you need to have all of your cards add up to 19, 20, or 21 and you win. If your hand adds up to 18 you will tie with the dealer, you will not loose your money but you will not win any money either. That tie is what is called a "push". If your cards add up to less than the dealer's 18 than you will loose the hand and the dealer will take your money. That is it in a nut shell. There are of course several other rules and regulations to playing the game successfully but that is the gist of the game. Another important rule of the game is that if you score a hand that adds up to 21 than you automatically win the hand. The dealer will pay you your bet PLUS half of it. That is what you shoot for when you play blackjack. There are also rules that allow you to "split" your hand or to "double down". These are easy enough concepts to understand. To split your hand you need to have two of the same card. So if you have two 8 cards you will want to split the hand. You place the same amount of the original bet down and then you play the two cards like two separate hands, staying or hitting on each one as necessary. Blackjack is very easy and everyone can play. If you wanted to learn more about the game and all of the in and outs of blackjack get your self some lessons or a good book and soon you will be winning like crazy. |
