Everything Gift Baskets

July 25, 2007 - Cookie Bouquets - A new type of Gift Basket

When you don’t want to send the same old flowers or gift basket to someone, you have the option of sending cookie bouquets instead. Not only are they different, they are entirely too cute. Whether you want to send one or not will depend on who you are sending it to, but you won’t find many people who will pass up a good cookie or two. Even if they don’t end up eating the cookies themselves I’m sure they know someone they can give them too after they are done enjoying the arrangement.

You may not have ever heard of cookie bouquets, but they are everywhere, and you can usually find one in just about any theme. You can put almost anything on a cookie, much like a cake, and you will find almost anyone who makes them will be glad to make whatever you need. I have seen cookie bouquets in the theme of sports, hobbies, colors, or flavors. The possibilities are endless, and you will also find that they are relatively affordable and can be delivered almost anywhere, just like flowers.

Cookie bouquets aren’t just a pile of cookies. The ones I have seen are actually very cute, and most of the cookies are put on sticks. Cookie bouquets are arranged much like flowers are arranged, and they can have other items included as well. I once sent one that had a bunch of smilie faced cookies along with a few other items all in the color of yellow. I almost had to send it, as I just couldn’t pass it up. I was surprised at the endless theme ideas and choices I had when I looked around on the Internet to find something special to send someone who was going through a particularly rough time.

You can find cookie bouquets all over the Internet (like www.DelightfulDeliveries.com) or you can make one yourself. You may not be able to get them on sticks, but you can arrange them in a basket with some other goodies. Some even prefer to send cookie bouquets instead of flowers because the cookies are always appreciated. It’s not that flowers aren’t appreciated, but at least you can eat the cookies. If you send one to someone in the hospital, they may not be able to eat them but they may love to share them with those who come to see them. They are especially great for those with grandchildren.
