Eating a well balanced diet is important to maintaining a health body and meeting your target weight. There are many weight loss programs out there that can help you to eat the proper foods that have the essential nutrients that your body craves and needs.
Dieting doesn’t mean you have to starve yourself. Eating is important, and those diets that require you to only eat small amounts are not exactly helping you. Yes you may lose the weight but you are also starving, then you are forced to take supplements that suppress your appetite so you don’t cheat. It’s a vicious cycle that honestly needs to come to an abrupt end. This is not healthy. Now when you stop your diet and beginning eating normal meals again, what happens? You gain all of the weight back. So what exactly was the point of the diet in the first place to torture yourself.
Well it ends today. I want you to understand that there are other more effective methods to lose weight, keep it off without starving yourself and this is by eating healthy.
A healthy weight loss involves you eating from all major food groups. But here is the important part you must only consume slightly less calories than your body requires.
There are so many foods that offer you the exact nutrition’s that you need to maintain a healthy living and will help you to lose weight and keep it off. So let’s look at what your diet could be like:
Begin each and every morning with a nourishing breakfast – cantaloupe, wheat break and eggs. Leave off the butter, and just load your eggs on the toasted wheat bread. Oh and let’s not forget to throw all whole milk out of your refrigerator and never again to drink it or use it for cooking purposes. The milk you need to be drinking is Skim milk. Trust me it was not my first choice and I don’t even think it was ever an option for me, but I did it and I did it slowly. You can do the same, go down to 2%, then to 1% and then to skim, but you need to get there.
Now you can have a snack between breakfast and lunch, a protein bar or shake, some fruit. Remember we are not going to be starving we want food because it has the nutrients that our body needs to function properly.
It’s important that you begin doing some moderate exercise, this can include a simple walk on a daily basis just to get your heart pumping. This is the key element to a healthy weight loss.
Here are some helpful tips:
1. Eat your breakfast every single morning, this is the most important meal of the day. And eating it will help to create a good eating pattern.
2. Eat three meals a day and healthy nutritious snacks in between your meals.
3. Never EVER eat after 8 pm – your body does not properly digest your food and this will put more weight on.
4. Do your best NOT to skip any meals or snacks. Carry around some of the healthy snacks in your pocketbook or keep them in your car, but don’t miss it.
5. Always stay focused. Remember the reasons that you are trying to keep yourself healthy and keep reminding yourself of those reasons. It will make it much easier for you to stay on track.
