Located on The Strand in the heart of the West End, The Savoy offers spectacular views of the river Thames. This landmark hotel opened in 1889 and is still considered to be the place to stay in London.  From palatial meeting rooms to the up-to-date facilities in the Fitness Gallery, The Savoy is truly an exceptional hotel.  The Savoy's position on the banks of the Thames, close to Covent Garden and Trafalgar Square and within walking distance of most London theatres makes it the ideal location from which to explore London.

All bedrooms offer warmth, comfort and luxury, those rooms and suites that have a river view have that extra element that turns a pleasant stay into a magical experience! After all it was the view that inspired Monet - he painted over 70 canvases during his visits to The Savoy and many famous celebrities have also been enchanted by its heart-stirring appeal.  The hotel's 263 rooms and suites, with Art Deco touches throughout, are elegantly appointed yet offer an extensive array of modern amenities - all bedrooms are equipped with the business traveler in mind - rooms have dual voltage outlets to support European and North American power cords. Guests not only will enjoy the convenience of High-Speed Internet connections but they can choose between laptop connectivity or access via the television using infra-red wireless keyboards..

Prior to the opening of The Savoy Hotel in 1889, its owners wanted to create something very special.  The Savoy was to be a hotel that was regarded as being truly unique - where impeccable service was of paramount importance. Cesar Ritz – the founder of the Ritz London – was commissioned to manage the hotel and the renowned Georges-Auguste Esscoffier was secured as Head of Restaurant Services. The London hotel thrived under their direction and the stage was set for a tradition that continues to this day. In the Michelin starred Savoy Grill and the more informal Banquette the wonderful cuisine of chef Marcus Wareing can be enjoyed.  Each restaurant has its own style and character but both are united in their pursuit of dining excellence.
