Cheap Hotels – ‘Cheap’ in London doesn’t always mean ‘Cheerful’! - Trust me, I’ve been dealing with hotels in London for more than 7 years and I know that you really do get what you pay for.  I wouldn’t recommend our clients to book any hotel in London that is priced under at least £80 per night.  If they do – they are more likely to be looking at an awful B&B masquerading as a hotel – DON’T RISK IT!!

Budget Hotels – Now these are a different story – OK, so they’re cheap hotels, but it doesn’t mean they’re nasty!  It just means that they have fewer facilities – such as no bars or restaurants, no concerige, no cooked breakfast, no fluffy bathrobes etc.  Chains that tend to come under the Budget Hotel umbrella tend to be – Travel Lodge, Comfort Inn and Holiday Inn Express hotels.  These hotels are great for a one/two night stopover and in cities such as London – these budget hotels offer great value for money.

3 Star Hotels – 3 Star Hotels in London are also good value for money.  These hotels have more facilities – such as an in-house bar and restaurant, fully en-suite bathrooms, breakfast options etc.  They will be more comfortable than their budget competitors.  3 Star Hotels in London would include the Corus Hotel Hyde Park, various Best Western Hotels and Holiday Inn Hotels and the Jurys Inn Islington and Jurys Inn Chelsea.

4 Star Hotels – 4 Star Hotels in London will be a bit more expensive than those listed above – probably between the rates of £140 and £200 per night.  These hotels have superior facilities and are much more comfortable – the bedrooms larger and better decorated and the public areas, such as the bars and restaurants will be more stylish than their 3 Star competitors.  The hotels may have leisure facilities and a small spa.  They may also offer private or valet car parking (at a charge).  4 Star Hotels in London include the Malmaison London, various Marriott Hotels and Hilton Hotels, the Park Plaza Riverbank,  the City Inn Westminster and the Grange Langham Court – all of these listed are fabulous 4 star hotels in London.

5 Star Hotels – 5 Star Hotels in London offer guests luxurious accommodation in the best locations – Mayfair, Kensington, Oxford Street etc. These hotels can range from £200 upwards depending on which hotel and location you choose.  Once again, in comparison to their nearest 4 star rivals, 5 star hotels in London will be better decorated and more stylish. You will be treated to sumptuous surroundings – bedrooms, lobbies, restaurants, bars – and the hotel will do their very best to make sure you enjoy your stay.  Many of London’s 5 Star hotels have famous chefs or Michelin-starred restaurants, so you will never be without a good meal!  5 Star hotels in London include the Baglioni Hotel, Claridge’s, the Savoy, the Ritz, the Four Seasons – all names we know to associate with luxury accommodation.
