Sydney Olympic Park seeks tourism partners

The Sydney Olympic Park Authority have called for ‘Expressions of Interest’ from industry in order to establish tourism and leisure facilities within the Olympic Park, with potential sites including the park's existing world-class venues and outdoor spaces.

Sydney Olympic Park is one of Australia's premier tourist and leisure attractions and attracted more than 8.2 million visitors in 2006.  To ensure that the Olympic Park keeps it’s position at the forefront of the nation's tourist and leisure destinations, Sydney Olympic Park Authority is searching for new and innovative tourism activities, ideas and products to build on the Park's existing venues infrastructure and parklands.

"We stand ready to work with the tourism and leisure industry to ensure that Sydney Olympic Park remains as one of Australia's key tourism destinations," Mr Rosenberg stated.
