Ockenden Manor, Cuckfield

Ockenden Manor is a peaceful and tranquil haven set in 9 acres of grounds with beautiful views over the Sussex Downs.  Located just 1 hour from London and approximately 20 minutes from Gatwick Airport. 

This elegant Elizabethan House is situated on the edge of the tudor village of Cockfield. Each of the hotels 22 bedrooms are named after members of the families which have owned the manor since 1520 and have a different character and style. For example The Merrick Suite has a private sitting room and balcony which overlooks the South Downs while the Elizabeth room boasts a private staircase and deluxe four poster bed. Some of the bedrooms have original features including fireplaces and panelling and many offer lovely views of the garden.
