With 26 en-suite bedrooms, all of which are individually decorated and furnished - some with four-poster beds, this independent family-run hotel offers its guests luxurious freedom and peaceful serenity in their own rooms or sociability in the public areas - such as the lobby, the restaurant - which is well known for it's excellent seafood and the bar.  The latter offers a feast of historic features including original rich oak panelling, stained glass windows and other period features. The new wing which opened in the Autumn of 2006 has provided an additional eight stylish bedrooms.
