Boship Farm Hotel, Hailsham

3:22 PM, Wednesday 13 February 2008 .. Posted in UK Hotels .. Link

A lovely old 17th century farmhouse with many original features forms the hub of the Boship Farm Hotel. Among the originals which survived are a magnificent brick fireplace in the hotels bar, timber beams and a tunnel built during The Civil War linking the building with the nearby Michelham Priory. The hotel is set in 17 acres of beautiful grounds and retains a pleasant country atmosphere.

The hotel offers 3 Conference rooms as well as extensive car parking and a helipad in the grounds together with an all-weather tennis court. Horse riding, walking and fishing are local activities while golfers can play at the nearby Horam Golf Club.

The hotel is an ideal touring base for the attractions of Sussex - castles, historic houses, gardens, theme parks, childrens farms and vineyards - and it is in the heart of the English wine-growing region.

The towns of Eastbourne, Brighton and Tunbridge Wells are all within easy reach. This hotel is a member of the Forestdale Hotels Group.
