Premier Inn is now the UK’s largest and fastest growing hotel chain, and has just been voted for by parents across the United Kingdom as having the Best Family Travel Facilities.

The winners of this prestigious award were announced at the end of March at the 2008 Parent Friendly Awards, hosted by the baby charity, Tommy’s. Premier Inn proudly accepted the award after more than a million votes were cast by parents nationwide, stiffling the stiff competition from Holiday Inn.

Travel Inn the UK budget hotels operator have changed names and are now called Premier Inn.  Premier Inn are the largest UK budget hotels operator with 500 hotels, closely followed by Travelodge with 330 hotels.

Travelodge are the fastest growing budget hotels operator and plan to open an extra 40 lodges during 2008.
