There are hundreds of different restaurants, and there are more then 100 barbeque restaurants in Kansas City, this is one of the many reasons that it is known as the capital of the world. It’s always great to get some delicious bbq chicken, or a bbq rib sandwich and Kansas City offers the best mouth watering bbq food that you can ever imaging eating.

But barbeque food is not the only type of food that you can find in Kansas City, there are a variety of different foods that you can find, such as great steak houses, and even sushi. Yes that’s right I said sushi.

This city is getting bigger and bigger and with that comes better food and more restaurants. And there is no lack of great Kansas City dining and plain Kansas City fun.

If you are looking for a great sushi experience then you can find many different Kansas City restaurants that will offer you a great dining experience, and a lot of them offer you a good variety of food types. Such as Ichiban, this restaurant has both sushi as well as steak. This was a great place for me and my wife, because she is a huge steak eater and I am all about sushi. There is also great entertainment. Another restaurant that me and my wife enjoyed was Kona Grill they had some great sushi and for my wife they offered a variety of American dishes to please her. These are just two of the Kansas City restaurants that we will visit when we visit Kansas City. We will try one or two new restaurants every time that we visit and we visit a few times a year because this is where her entire family is. Some other good sushi places are Kona Grill, Sushi House & Jun’s, Nara, Matsu, and Friend’s Sushi & Bento Box.

Alright now that we know all about the sushi places, now we can take a look at some other types of Kansas City Restaurants. BBQ food is the number one reason that I love visiting this city, of course besides seeing my wife’s family. This truly is the barbeque capital of the world. LC’s BBQ is one of my absolute favorite barbeque restaurants and men I don’t suggest taking your any first dates here. There is no way around making a mess out of yourself. This is one good sign that the food is going to be excellent.

Peppercorn Duck Club is actually the restaurant that I proposed to my wife. It was a wonderful night, and the best night of my life once she said yes. And this very upscale Kansas City restaurant offers you nothing but the best experience that you can possibly have. Of course you are paying for this type of service, that’s why it’s great for special occasions.

Kansas City has so many different things to offer you and great food is just one of these things. You can find amazing entertainment, there is always something to do in this city. So if you are planning a vacation to Kansas City try to soak up as much of this city as you possibly can. This city has been known to inspire many jazz musicians and you can feel some of that experience when you are visiting the nightclubs. Let’s not forget the museums, shopping and parks that can fill your days with much entertainment.
