Kansas City offers plenty of shopping opportunities for everyone. There are many areas for shopping in Kansas City and many fine stores. The shopping in Kansas City is pretty much divided into sections. There are a lot of different areas offering a wide range of shopping for all your needs.

One of the most popular districts or areas to shop in Kansas City has got to be The Country Club Plaza or just "the Plaza" as most know it. This district is one of the first in the United States to offer convenience to those driving to the shopping district. There are many buildings with apartments and condos surrounding the district making it an easy stroll for those who live there. The Plaza is also the oldest shopping center in the country and in 1997 it celebrated its 75th anniversary. Ten million tourists and locals come here each year. This district is all located in a fourteen block area which means plenty of shops to go to.
