Kansas City FUN! This city has many fun things to do. With all the fun to be had in Kansas City it is hard to believe that people actually get business done there at all. It all depends on what you enjoy doing and what you will consider fun, but Kansas City has something for everyone.

One of the best things to do in Kansas City is to shop. Now many people do not believe that shopping is fun but those of us who enjoy it know the truth. Any true shopper can spend an entire week shopping in Kansas City and have fabulously fun time the whole week they are shopping. Kansas City is known around the world for its great shopping spots. The city has everything from the local mall, which many people find exciting enough, to neighborhoods of houses and apartments that quaint little shops are hidden sporadically through out.

Now the local malls are great, do not get me wrong, however if you are planning for a fun shopping spree in Kansas City there are some places you have to visit. The areas in Kansas City are referred to as districts. Now one of the most popular places to shop in these districts would have to be the Country Club Plaza or the "Plaza" as it is known to locals. The plaza is the oldest shopping center in the city. This district is a fourteen block area that is surrounded by houses and apartments and condos of local residents. This district has such a lovely feel to it and shopping here is just fantastic. The plaza plays home to not only many residents but also stores like Armani, Tiffany, and BCGB.

In this district of the plaza you can also expect to find numerous restaurants where you can eat anything from gourmet food to a basic burger. Because we all know with that much shopping you will need to re energize your self during and after. Another fun thing to do in this part of Kansas City would have to be to stop and look at all the amazing water fountains that the city has here. Kansas City is known as the "City of Fountains" and the plaza has the majority of these fountains with in its boarders, there is practically a fountain on every corner.

There are plenty of other places to shop and have fun in. Each one of these districts as they are called offers their own atmosphere to shop in. The Brookside district offers a very lovely English feel to the neighborhood shopping area. With all of its quaint shops and stores. This area offers over 70 shops and stores to have a great time shopping in. the majority of these shops are locally owned and have a small shop feel to them. It is truly a shopping experience you must have for your self here. There is also the Town Center Plaza to shop in. Here you will find 90 upscale shops to choose from. There are such stores as the Pottery Barn and Bombay Co. Again there is a number of restaurants to choose from here if those hunger pangs strike.

The restaurants alone in Kansas City could keep you busy for weeks. You could eat every meal and snack in a different place and not repeat restaurants. And if you add local bar and grilles to that list you may also enjoy some of the great music Kansas City has to offer. Food and music is a guaranteed to be a fun time.

There are also several sports teams in Kansas City to go see for a day of fun. The Kansas City Chiefs have their home here in Arrowhead Stadium. Catching one of their games is sure to create some fun memories. There is also the soccer team the Wizards, which are quickly gaining popularity in Kansas City. Catching a baseball game for around $8 is a fun time and the Royals fans will be happy to see you there.

In general Kansas City has a ton of fun things to do with in its city limits. Finding something to do there is not the problem. The problem is will you have enough time to do everything you want to there.
