Once you have found your dream restaurant, and had a divine meal, you may be wondering where you even begin to find out what is going on in the city.You do actually have a few options - you're best best is probably going to be Time Out for Music in London. They produce a weekly magazine as well as a regularly updated website, which gives full details of concerts and anything else of that nature which you may find happening in London.
I have found their reviews to be mostly spot on, they give a pretty good breakdown of what venues are actually like, and if its worth your time visiting at all!!

London is an amazing city. A sprawling mass of villages, tied together by a huge network of roads and underground tube lines.It can be a little overwhelming for the first time visitor. Finding places to go out can be a dangerous business if you are new to town. I haven't been in London long myself, and have struggled to find a decent guide to some of the more luxurious eating establishments in the area. It can be a chore.
Hardens to the rescue!
It turns out that two brothers have dedicated the last decade or so of their lives to producing a guide to some of the best London restaurants. They offer short and to the point reviews of thousands of restaurants in London as well as a directory of corporate event venues.
A great little guide which is well worth your money if you are going to be spending any amount of time in London.
