Organic Vitamins for health

Posted on 2007-Nov-22 at 10:07 in Vitamins and Supplements

I was present at the birth of a friend’s baby the other day, and as the baby was shown through the glass window, generating the customary crescendos of ohhs and ahhs from the gathered audience, I couldn’t help thinking that here we were witnessing perfect health, the ultimate healthy body without diseases or imperfections, health as it should be, in all its innocent glory!

And as I quickly drew a mind map of the baby’s growth amongst us, I was only too painfully aware that just as nature had brought into life a perfect bundle of joy and health so would we turn this healthy perfection into something all too familiar in today’s life:  A nutritionally deficient health in need of vitamins and supplements.

Vitamins are living enzymes complexes responsible for the production of natural biochemical reactions in our body.  When taken in their organic form, vitamin can therefore perform the very functions they are called upon to perform unlike the synthetic vitamins which are no more than glorified chemicals quite capable of causing havoc in our body.

As a society geared towards consumption, we are confronted with an unprecedented choice of vitamins, as daily supplements or multi vitamin super duper and multi boosted tablets of sheer vitamin power and yet an increasing number of Americans are chronically ill.

Even the foods we buy boast products that include vitamins (in fact these “vitamins” are almost always chemicals components).

We are what we eat and in a country where billions of dollars of synthetic vitamins are spent on a yearly basis, the overall state of our health seems to indicate that those synthetically produced nutrients are falling short of the promises on their labels.

And so as the realization that these synthetic chemical vitamin products are not the real deal gradually becomes evident in our mind, the problem we now face is where to find, the good vitamins that our body craves.

The answer to that question is simple.  Just as the food we eat should be organic, so do the vitamins we take as supplements.  If there is one message that one needs to remember, it is that when it comes to vitamins, nothing compares with organic food which when consume provide our body with all the necessary nutrients it needs for its well being!

Since we know that not all vitamins are created equal, our recommendation is that organic vitamins are the only vitamins containing the necessary nutrients our body needs for optimal health and therefore should be the only ones used in our daily supplements.

Nature in its infinite wisdom has created a world ripe with organic food that is ideal for our health.  Babies are born as a testimony to this perfect health which is our inherent right as human beings, just like the baby who’s birth I had begun to celebrate..

And as I was contemplating this beautiful bundle of joy, image of nature’s perfection, I couldn’t help hoping that those around him, the parents and siblings, the friends and teachers would ultimately remember natures’ lessons and stir baby into a path of organic food.

And as time drew nearer for baby to be returned to the peace of his first earthly sleep and we were starting to walk away, some of us rushed to the nearest soda machine where they proceeded to pour themselves one of the very products which nature had never intended.

It seemed that this baby would need all the help he could get in the form of organic vitamins and other such organic foods.

One Lecithin a day helps keep the doctor away

Posted on 2007-Oct-29 at 01:07 in Vitamins and Supplements

Produced by the liver when nutrition and diet is adequate, lecithin is a fat like substance needed by every cell in the body.  It is in fact an essential component of the cell membranes which would harden if Lecithin wasn’t present in sufficient quantities.

Lecithin acts as a protector of cells oxidation and comprises the protective sheaths surrounding the brain.  It plays an intrinsic role in long term memory and helps maintain the nervous system. It is composed mostly of vitamin B, choline, inositol, linoleic acid as well as phosphoric acid.

As a fat emulsifier, Lecithin is also vital the supporting and maintaining a healthy heart and circulatory system.

Clinicians also use the more powerful Phosphatidylcholine or its derivative drug Glyceryl-phosphorylcholine to prevent and reverse dementia, improve cognitive function, increase human growth hormone (hGH) release, and to treat brain disorders such as damage from stroke. In fact, it is likely that PC and GPC may also contribute in helping build the membranes of our nerve cells.  Finally, it is also thought as a facilitator of electrical transmission in the brain, holding membrane proteins in place, as well as producing the neurotransmitter acetylcholine..

Lecithin was celebrated for years as a wonderful food able to fight a diverse number of ailments such as atherosclerosis, multiple sclerosis, liver cirrhosis, gall stones, psoriasis, eczema, scleroderma, anxiety, tremors and brain aging and in 2001 the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) authorized products containing enough of it to bear labels such as "A good source of choline."

Lecithin is a nutritional supplement that is regarded as safe except for people who are highly allergic to soy.  The late Robert Atkins, MD, advised patients not to take large doses of supplemental lecithin without extra vitamin C.

It is my opinion that if all was being equal and perfect in our consumption of food, we would not need to supplement our diet with nutritional supplements.  Vitamins, minerals are normally produced in sufficient quantities by our body.  The problem arises when these quantities diminish over time creating a disequilibrium which then may cause more serious complications.

Organic Vitamins and nutritional supplements such as Lecithin have been shown to redress this imbalance, thus improving our general health.

Organic MultiVitamins. Let nature’s goodness make you healthy

Posted on 2007-Oct-8 at 01:40 in Vitamins and Supplements

Organic foods have to be produced according to various producing standards which for example prohibit the use of pesticides, human waste, artificial fertilizers and sewage sludge. In addition, the processing of organic food has to be accomplished without food addictives or ionizing radiation and organic produce cannot be genetically modified.

In a world where the bottom dollar is the ultimate ruler, the trend for big farming conglomerates was to maximize production levels to the detriment of quality.  Somore did not necessarily mean better and an increasing health conscious population began to demand more quality.

Consumers all over the "modern" world are now more and more concerned about health issues and paramount amongst those are the methods of producing food products, including diary and meat product from cattle. This trend is gaining ground in the US where industrialized food chains have been known to consider chicken manure an acceptable source of protein in cattle feed. "You are what you eat" is often repeated to our children and perhaps we ought to say instead that we are what we feed our crops, our vegetable gardens and even our cattle."

And so, by natural progression, the food we used to consume is now being replaced by Organic products, grown to retain their natural properties, and certainly not cultivated with hormones and various other harmful elements.

Organic food is better for our health and even taste better.

Whilst the quality of our food is improving, we, as a society is ironically still showing signs of mal nourishment and the rate of obesity, diabetes and various other illness often times related to poor nutrition is increasing and therefore the use of vitamins and herbs is still recommended by most experts.

A daily supplements is often times needed for restoring balance to our body and what better supplements than an organic one?  The good news is that food is not the only organic product anymore. Organic Vitamins can now be found!

A recent introduction into our organic market is a line of vitamins, minerals and nutritional supplements produced "organically".

Such organic multivitamins are manufactured with the highest quality control and are usually certified by Organic Certifiers in accordance with the USA-NOP National Organic Standards.

Vitamin C

Posted on 2007-Aug-16 at 10:03 in Vitamins and Supplements

VITAMIN C (Ascorbic acid) - Many species of animals can make their own Vitamin C, however humans must get their ascorbic acid from the foods that they eat. Supplemental Vitamin C is absorbed from the gut and then reabsorbed through the kidneys. Vitamin C can be found in a number of foods, mostly from those in the fruit and vegetable families at least 'in theory'. The only problem we have today with getting a consistent supply of vitamin C, or any other nutrient from food sources is that foods in general are just not what they once were in terms of their native nutrient content. Many foods are grown in nutrient depleted soils, and many or may not contain the nutrient content that is typically known to be in that product in its natural state. Some foods that are thought to contain Vitamin C are oranges, grapefruits, tangerines, lemons, limes, papaya, strawberries, tomatoes, broccoli, green, red bell peppers, raw lettuce, leafy greens and cantaloupe. The Vitamin C found in these fruits and vegetables are a part of the complex matrix of other ingredients, nutrients and bioflavonoids that are water soluble substances that help to protect your body from cellular damage.

Vitamin C was discovered about 66 years ago, and has gotten more press than any one nutrient since nutrition issues first came to light. Vitamin C supports some of the most important systems in our bodies. It is easy to see why this vitamin is so popular considering it has a role in everything from collagen formation to immune system function. It has been shown to prevent many illnesses; from everyday ailments such as the common cold to devastating diseases such as cancer. However Vitamin C is best known for is its ability to assist in helping the immune system to fight off foreign invaders and out of control cells.

Symptoms of a deficiency may include skin problems (slow wound healing), bleeding gums, immune problems, weak or frail bone structure and chronic systemic or joint inflammation. Since Vitamin C is so important in the maintenance of the joints and connective tissues it should be included in any formula that is used for this purpose. Many people don't realize that the immune system also has an integral part in maintaining joint health. Because when the immune system is not working properly the likelihood that the joints will become a target for invaders (chemical or other wise) is greatly increased. Vitamin C is a major component in the formation of joint collagen and synovial fluid, the cushion and fluid that helps the joints to slide and move smoothly. And since chronic inflammation is also associated with joint disease, you can see how vitamin C has a multi-purpose function in this respect as an anti inflammatory. It also increases the level of pro-collagen messenger RNA. Collagen subunits are formed within fibroblasts as pro-collagen, which is excreted into extracellular spaces. Vitamin C is required to export the pro-collagen molecules out of the cell so they can be used.

As an antioxidant, this water-soluble nutrient is in the unique position of being able to scavenge" or “gobble up” certain types of free radicals before they have a chance to damage lipids and other cellular components. It has been shown to work along side of vitamin E, a fat-soluble antioxidant, and the enzyme glutathione peroxidase to stop the free radical chain reactions from getting out of hand. Vitamin C typically can be taken in large doses to a point, without any significant problems. Since the absorption mechanisms in the gut and kidneys can reach a saturation point, it is better to take several doses of Vitamin C throughout the day always with food, rather than one large dose. This is true of almost any water soluble vitamin, so if you want to get the most protection, we now offer you a way to incorporate this great nutrient into your everyday supplement plan. Always try to plan for the future by taking your antioxidants today!

Selenium

Posted on 2007-Aug-16 at 09:53 in Vitamins and Supplements

The mineral selenium is available in many different forms as a nutritional supplement today. It is classified as an essential trace mineral in the human body. This nutrient has gained a tremendous amount of recognition over the past ten years, with many studies being performed that show its efficacy. It is an important part of our antioxidant enzyme and immune systems, which protects the cells against the effects of 'free radicals' that are produced during normal oxygen and waste metabolism. Thank goodness the human body is a very adaptive organism! It has developed natural defenses such as an innate antioxidant system that utilizes selenium to help control levels of free radicals because they can damage cells, and contribute to the development of serious disabling diseases. Selenium is also essential for normal functioning of the thyroid gland, which has far reaching ramifications for those who are trying to loose weight. They get caught up in the viscous cycle of binging on junk food that is totally devoid of any real nutrient content, that even further robs their bodies of nutrients like selenium that help to maintain their health and well being.

Deficiencies in this important trace mineral can also lead to severe gastrointestinal disorders, and may lead to further malabsorption complications which results in further selenium depletion and deficiency. These malabsorption complications can lead to a chain of events that spiral into all kinds of gastrointestinal absorption problems that usually affect absorption of other nutrients as well. This kind of degenerative disease process will require routine monitoring of nutritional status so that natural physicians can recommend the appropriate treatment. Celiac's disease and IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) are two prime examples of pathologies that may be a combination of a nutrient deficiency, bound to congenital anomalies that create a life time of pain and suffering. Unfortunately, the allopathic medical community doesn't look at this aspect of the disease formation process. And therefore almost all the time medical intervention is all about treating the symptoms, and not the cause.

Many times in the field of medicine that answer is right in front of us, and we can't see it, we offer selenium which can be taken to supplement your diet and any possible lack of this nutrient that may be occurring in your diet.

Potassium

Posted on 2007-Aug-16 at 09:48 in Vitamins and Supplements

Potassium is one of the most essential minerals in your body. Its high intracellular concentration is regulated by the cell membrane through what is known as the sodium - potassium pump. A chronic potassium deficiency most surely can cause many types of degenerative diseases, including diseases that you would not normally associate with a deficit with like Rheumatoid Arthritis. Most low fat foods contain some form of potassium. The best food sources are fruits, vegetables and juices, dairy products, fish, lean meats and poultry (bananas, cantaloupes, orange juice, baked potatoes and low-fat yogurt are the best sources).

There are many reasons why a potassium deficiency might occur, some of them are:
- Chronic diarrhea
- Processed food
- Reliance totally on grains
- Fatty foods
- Psychic/physical stress
- Stimulation of aldosterone
- Stress stimulation of cortisol
- Use of diuretics
- Excessive vomiting
- Eating sodium bicarbonate
- Laxative use

Potassium works with sodium to regulate the body's waste balance and normalize heart rhythms. It gives us the ability to think clearly because it sends oxygen to the brain; it also helps to maintain the proper pH of our bodily fluids. Potassium is very important in its involvement as a systemic detoxifier because it stimulates the kidneys to eliminate poisonous body wastes; it also acts as a mild diuretic which helps to lower the blood pressure. There is one other benefit of taking Potassium that most people do not think about, and that is that it has been shown to promote healthy skin!

Deficiency symptoms might include cardiac failure, poor reflexes, nervous disorders, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, muscle damage, anxiousness, drowsiness, weakness, nausea, irrational behavior and an irregular heartbeat even cardiac failure! Low potassium levels can result in a protein wasting condition called Hypokalemia which reduces the total cell mass in the body. Many people experience this to a lesser degree when they diet, they experience what is known as 'water weight loss'. This occurs mostly because the muscle tissue is wasting away.

So you can see that nutrient deficiencies, even small ones can cycle into a traumatic event that throws the body into a state of chaos. We offer Potassium as a dietary supplement that can be taken with meals to help maintain the delicate balance that helps us to stay healthy!

Coral Calcium

Posted on 2007-Aug-16 at 09:41 in Vitamins and Supplements

There are many types of calcium products on the market today, and there isn’t any doubt that taking calcium is good for you. The question is, what kind do you take? Your body needs certain types of minerals, and those minerals need to be absorbed easily for you to utilize them properly. Over time your body loses a certain amount of mineral content due to environmental and dietary reasons. This mineral loss can make your body more susceptible to various age related medical conditions, health problems and growth deficiencies.

The body needs calcium to maintain proper systemic pH levels, bone development and muscle function throughout life. Calcium is needed in just about every system in the body and has been shown to help regulate heart rhythm; activate enzyme systems and is involved in helping the blood to clot. It is also essential for proper nerve, muscle and cell function.

So how do you make sure you are getting enough calcium in your diet? The answer is simply that if you follow the rules of nature that help to maintain systemic pH. This can be done by taking a calcium product that is well tolerated by the body, and has a properly balanced amount and type of support nutrients to help calcium do its job. Recently a calcium product has hit the market in a big way that is derived from coral and fits this profile perfectly; it is found in Japan and is harvested to be used as a supplement.  We call it Coral Calcium. The attraction to this product comes mostly from the fact that it contains a unique blend of native minerals that provides the body the additional support it needs to utilize the calcium properly. Taking the right kind of calcium in general will assist in raising the body’s pH level to a more natural alkaline state, which will allow the body to function normally. This will improve metabolism, help the body to expel waste, increase energy levels and providing an overall sense of well being.

Coral calcium has been shown to contain around 70 trace minerals in a state that is considered to be very user friendly. These additional trace minerals may support the utilization of coral calcium in the body. In addition to this naturally beneficial nutrient blend, a coral calcium supplement can be enhanced with magnesium and vitamin D to further assist with assimilation, absorption and utilization of calcium.

Over a decade ago, the health conscious Japanese government authorized the mining of specific types coral calcium known to have many health benefits, and today over four million Japanese consumers take coral calcium daily! Now people world wide are finding out about it, and are taking advantage of the benefits that supplementing with coral calcium has to offer!

Calcium

Posted on 2007-Aug-15 at 06:20 in Vitamins and Supplements

Research suggests that people who experience low levels of hydrochloric acid in the stomach may absorb more calcium from Calcium Citrate than from calcium carbonate. Forty percent of women and 13 percent of men will suffer a bone fracture due to osteoporosis during their lifetime. The other side of the coin is not so much what you 'take in', but preserving what you have already and limiting calcium loss.

Some would say that you can get what you need from foods. Even though this problem really doesn't fall into the category of a 'disease', it is still a serious problem because if affects so many people. Very low calcium (and it support nutrients such as magnesium, phosphorus and vitamin D etc.

So if you are taking (and absorbing) calcium and your hormonal system is working properly you should be able to maintain a normal level of this mineral in the blood, as well as in the bones. Other nutrients play a substantial role in the utilization and incorporation of calcium into the bones. .

Diets that are high in protein, especially animal protein, causes more calcium to be excreted from the body. Just choosing the right calcium product is the first step, because if you don't absorb it, you can use it!

In countries where dairy products are commonly consumed, there are actually more hip fractures than in other countries. This occurs because the body tries to buffer the acid that the proteins produce, this leads to calcium loss through the urine, and can lead to brittle bones down the road. One of the major culprits that leads to osteoporosis may be protein (to much of it).

There are many reasons why calcium in general is not well absorbed; they range from low stomach acid, vitamin deficits to just taking the wrong product. There are so many levels that this kind of diet is NO GOOD on, but with regards to its affect on systemic calcium loss, it is especially detrimental.

Should I take an anti-acid product because it contains 'calcium', or should you take something that costs more and has been shown to work? It is well-recognized, and research shows that certain types of calcium supplements taken at the proper time can help prevent bone loss in some populations. Are they right? Should you eat more dairy products, other such foods that are supposed to contain calcium?

The dairy industry has used osteoporosis as marketing hype for many years, but milk does not seem to be the answer. It is just a matter of what path to follow. We want you to have a long and healthy life, so they are providing you with a Calcium Citrate product that can be taken with your other supplements long into the future as a preventative measure for health.

Vitamin B

Posted on 2007-Aug-2 at 02:21 in Vitamins and Supplements

Vitamin B

Vitamin B-100 is made with today’s fast paced lifestyle in mind. Today more than ever people realize that taking supplements has a direct impact on their lives! And for those who drink coffee and alcohol, eat sweets and are stressed out to the point that they are making themselves sick, taking supplements like B-100 makes perfect sense. With life the way it is and with what occurs in our everyday lives B vitamins are essential for an amazing number of our bodily functions. The B-complex vitamins are actually a group of eight vitamins, which include thiamine (B1), riboflavin (B2), niacin (B3), pyridoxine (B6), folic acid (B9), cyanocobalamin (B12), pantothenic acid and biotin. Unlike minerals, B vitamins are organic (carbon containing) molecules that are best known to function as catalysts for chemical reactions that occur in our bodies. A catalyst is a substance that allows a chemical reaction more efficiently and in less time than it would take under normal conditions. If these catalysts are missing, as in what might occur in a vitamin deficiency, normal body functions do not occur as they should and we can become susceptible to disease.

The natural B-complex vitamins can be found in brewer's yeast, liver, whole-grain cereals, rice, nuts, milk, eggs, meats, fish, fruits, leafy green vegetables and many other foods. And you might wonder “well then, why you should I take this product as a supplement?” The answer is simple; food just isn’t what it was one hundred years ago. Much of what we eat today is highly processed and in many cases can be devoid of any significant nutrient content at all. Plus, if we do get a food that contains any naturally occurring amounts of this vitamin complex, it usually gets destroyed in the cooking process or by the addition of alcohol or sugar to the meal. B-Vitamins in general are best known to assist in carbohydrate metabolism, maintaining the nervous system, the skin, mucous membranes, the eyes, nerve sheaths, the GI tract, DNA, hemoglobin synthesis and liver health, formation of blood cells and protein metabolism just to name a few. B vitamins are also produced naturally by bacteria within our own intestines. But again due to the nature of the world today and the amount of antibiotics and other drugs that are prescribed and are known to destroy B-Vitamins, it is imperative that we look to balance the scales by finding a quality supplemental source.

Vitamin and mineral products

Posted on 2007-Aug-2 at 01:02 in Vitamins and Supplements

Vitamin and mineral products are more important than ever in today’s fast paced world. Not only are we moving at the speed of light, but along the way we are exposed to a myriad of toxic waste that has become a part of our everyday modern lives!

Good nutrition helps to protect us from the environment and aging, if all the nutrient co-factors are ‘in play’. Can we get all the nutrients that we need from food? Well, it is just a plain hard fact that food just isn’t what it used to be 100 years, or even 50 years ago. The plants that many foods are derived from are grown in other countries where they are stored for months at a time, and lose nutrient content through oxidation. And here in the U.S. it has become commonplace to grow foods in nutrient depleted fields year after year. Unfortunately there aren’t a lot of studies that show that the decrease in nutrient content in our over all diet is causing sub clinical disease states that doctors find hard to deal with and treat. However, major medical institutions like the Mayo Clinic and the main stream medical Journals are now finally seeing that there is scientific evidence that shows taking a good multi vitamin and mineral product helps to control some of the medical problems that they have found did not respond other types of treatment.

It is a well known fact that vitamins and minerals in the right amounts are needed for a variety of biologic processes that include, but are not limited to growth, digestion, mental alertness and resistance to infection. Specific nutrients enable your body to use carbohydrates, fats and proteins because they act like catalysts that initiate or speed up chemical reactions through out the body. So, if you happen to be depleted in certain nutrients that are needed to increase everything from energy levels to brain function all you have to do is take them, and you will feel a difference!

And when it comes to the types of products to take and who should take them, there is a big difference in every group ranging from the elderly to teenagers, and there is even a difference between what should be taken by men and women.

Men have different nutritional needs as they relate to biochemistry than women, mostly due to their activity levels, muscle mass and hormone types. MegaForce Men’s Essential Multi Vitamin product that contains the ingredients that are specific to the male population for maintaining health. There male formula includes specific vitamins that are water soluble such as vitamin C, biotin and the seven B vitamins, thiamin (B-1), riboflavin (B-2), niacin (B-3), pantothenic acid (B-5), pyridoxine (B-6) and cyanocobalamin (B-12). These nutrients are not stored in your body in any appreciable amounts and have to be replaced throughout the day. Then there are the fat-soluble vitamins A and E that are stored in a number of locations throughout the body, including your fatty tissue. Your body also needs minerals like zinc and copper to help regulate cell function and to serve as building blocks for your cells and organs. The Men’s Essential formula also contains specialty ingredients such as saw palmetto and damiana leaf to help increase and promote male stamina.

Vitamin A

Posted on 2007-Aug-1 at 09:48 in Vitamins and Supplements

Vitamin A

An essential anti-oxidant nutrient that plays an important role in the healthy functioning of many bodily systems. It is a fat soluble vitamin known by several names, one being Retinol…but it is usually found in supplements as Retinyl Palmitate.

Vitamin A is manufactured by extraction from fish-liver oil for supplements, but is ordinarily found in foods such as butter, cheese, cream, eggs, lamb, liver and milk. Vitamin A is also formed from pro-vitamin A (beta carotene) which is found in carrots, broccoli, spinach and other vegetables. Vitamin A is necessary for the growth and repair of every tissue in our bodies, and is even more important in maintaining the health of your eyes and skin. It helps fight infections in general and is essential for maintaining the mucous membrane that lines the stomach, intestines and sinuses.

Many people in the U.S. are deficient (sub-clinically) in this nutrient but are not even aware of it. Depleted stores in the body are usually prevalent in those who eat highly processed foods on a regular basis and use food grade oil that is also nutrient depleted. Since most fat soluble vitamins come from food and if these foods are nutrient depleted, then over time symptoms of depletion will begin to arise. Signs of deficiency may include: insomnia, depression, night blindness, increased susceptibility to infections, fatigue, loss of smell and appetite, rough, dry, scaly skin, dull lusterless hair; brittle nails and inflamed membranes in the eyes, infections of the lungs and air passages.

Vitamin A can be destroyed by oxidation particularly in the presence of iron and copper, and by exposure to high temperatures and light. So unless you take great care in making sure you buy foods that are very fresh and have not been highly processed, you might want to consider buying a Vitamin A supplement. Over the long haul it is better to be safe than sorry.

Anti Stress

Posted on 2007-Aug-1 at 09:30 in Vitamins and Supplements

Anti Stress Formula

We all experience stress on a daily basis, it is every where! We experience it driving in heavy traffic, dealing with a boss who is less than supportive or just the everyday family situations that come up. What most people don’t understand is that stress is stress (emotional or physical) no matter where it comes from, it is all the same! And all this stress affects that body the same way from a physiological point of view, no matter what the source. So, for over all long term health it is very important that we get it under control and learn how to deal with it, because of the damage it will eventually do to our bodies.

When you work out in the gym...that is stress, when you are constantly being emotionally bombarded... that is stress, when you eat the wrong foods...that is stress and the list goes on. The cumulative physiological effect that all this stress has on the body creates ‘free radicals’ (which is not good), they damage blood vessels & our cells which reduces the amount of oxygen that is available to the body. This destroys sleep patterns, causes digestive problems, organ damage and worst of all destroys the vital nutrients that our bodies need to stay healthy.

So, what do we do? Well, you can start by taking Anti Stress product; it will provide you with the nutrient content that will help you to cope with the daily onslaught of negativity that makes you react to stress the way you do. Really, dealing with stress begins in the head, the rest is all part of the how your body deals with the trauma. Having the additional support from a nutritious diet and supplements, to help provide a solid foundation from which to work to keep you healthy is the only way to go today. When you think about it, your body works fine if it is not over worked, and you only eat a moderately healthy diet. But the trouble starts when you let things get to you, the body can’t keep up with the ‘drain’ of energy and the need for more of what keeps us healthy. It is a lot like a race car, you can’t expect it to function at optimal levels if you don’t give it the proper fuel. The body is the same way, it requires nutrients at all levels to be able to deal with situations that are out of realm of what the system is used to handling.

What we need to do is:

· Identify the short-term stress in your life.
· Manage your work overload and job stress.
· Plan ahead to reduce performance stress.
· Learn how to breathe and relax.
· Eat a nutritious diet.
And take the right kind of supplements.

‘Anti Stress’ helps you deal with the everyday issues that come up and cause your system to get run down, dealing and coping with stress at every level will make your life more enjoyable!

Vitamin Balanced B Complex

VITAMIN BALANCE B COMPLEX (TABS) - 100/COUNT

In our everyday lives B vitamins are essential for an amazing number of our bodily functions. The B-complex vitamins are actually a group of eight vitamins, which include thiamin (B1), riboflavin (B2), niacin (B3), pyridoxine (B6), folic acid (B9), cyanocobalamin (B12), pantothenic acid and biotin. Unlike minerals, B vitamins are organic (carbon containing) molecules that are best known to function as catalysts for chemical reactions that occur in our bodies. A catalyst is a substance that allows a chemical reaction to occur more efficiently and in less time than it would take under normal conditions. If these catalysts are missing, as in what might occur in a vitamin deficiency, normal body functions do not occur as they should and we can become susceptible to disease.

The natural Vitamin B Complex vitamins can be found in brewer's yeast, liver, whole-grain cereals, rice, nuts, milk, eggs, meats, fish, fruits, leafy green vegetables and many other foods. And you might wonder “well then, why should I take this product as a supplement?” The answer is simple; food just isn’t what it was one hundred years ago.
