This is not a money making opportunity at present. Although I may look for JV partners down the road to spread the message. But right now this is about the medical journey I went through that saved my life. And the diet that was basically responsible for my medical results. It wasn't long ago that I entered a journey that would change my entire life. Both for the good and bad. As I may have said earlier that I developed a bad heart. As a result I spent 5 long years sick and mired in the health system. Especially the worker's comp system. I required serious heart surgery, but was unable to have the surgery because of my weight. I was a monster at 365 pounds. The only way of saving my life was surgery, but as I said that was not an option till I lost a significant amount of weight. I was basically given 3 months to live in my present condition. Well I'm still here and it's because of some wonderfull people and a little known diet that saved my life. I have written a an ebook detailing my journey and describing the life saving diet. It is a free ebook. No cost, just a few minutes of time to download it. I hope you have a chnace to read it and it helps you. Here is the beginning link to get the book. http://www.lifesavingdiet.com Beta Testing is Done Results are Great

Being a Railbird
12:55, 2008-Mar-9
.. Link
http:www.secretbookofpoker.com A Railbird for those that don't know, is a person who hangs around a poker room just outside of the playing area and stands and watches table play. Usually leaning on a wooden rail that is used to cordon off the playing area from other parts of the casino. The birds can be players who just bounced out of a tournament, or family members of people playing in the poker area, or just interested bystanders. I bring this up because I have recently discovered a site called Railbirds.com which is a site as you might guess, dedicated to all things poker. They have all sorts of information relevant to poker. They also feature a significant amount of bandwith for members to post blogs. But you have to be carefull with your posts, as they have no qualms about banning you if you stray from the posting rules. Also, members are not shy when it comes to commenting on your blogs. Good, bad or ugly, it all seems to come out, depending on who has taken the time to read your blog. One thing that is cool is that they host 2 tournaments a day for members. The tournaments are private and have a cash structure to them. It's deffinitely a site worth going and looking at if you have some spare time. If you go there let them know that the guy from secretbookofpoker.com sent you. That would help, as I have gotten in some trouble for oversteping the boundries in my blogs there. So go and enjoy. http:www.secretbookofpoker.com It seems to be true. The guys over at secretbookofpoker.com have just posted on their site that they are now giving away the Secret Book of Poker for FREE! I'm very surprised that they'd be doing this. But apparently Mr. Ault is quite sick and getting the book out to people is more imprtant than the money he'd make on selling the book. I assume that the people that bought it will get a refund. But that is just my guess. It would seem only fair. If someone ask for their money back and they don't get it, I'm sure they will raise a ruckus. But from what I can tell, they are pretty solid people there and I don't think there will be a problem. If you go get the book and read it, I'd like you to come back here and post some comments about it. Let us know what you think and if it was of any value. I'm interested in seeing some feedback. I thought the book was pretty good. It was easy to read and had what I believe so cool information. I may not agree with everything I read, but very informative any way. So go to secretbookofpoker.com if you would like a free copy and let me know what you think. Pokerman Secret Book of Poker to Add Player Staking Plan
06:58, 2008-Feb-25

http:www.secretbookofpoker.com Big doings at Secret Book of Poker. They are going to start a player staking plan on their site for those players that have purchased their book. According to the site, they will be starting sometime in March and will be starting slowly at first. The concept sounds pretty neat. They say they plan on building up a team of players that can dominate the tournaments offered online. How many players end up on the team they don't say, but I would imagine anyone who buys their book will get some action. That way everybody will have a chance to prove themselves. It seems like a novel idea. I don't know of anyone who is approaching player staking based on a team concept. If a group of strong players come together, who knows what they could accomplish. Maybe there will become teams all over the world and an international team poker league will form. That would be wild I think. Should be interesting to see how this idea flies and what level of success they attain. Not sure what sites will be available for play. We'll just have to wait and see. Pokerman Moving Blog

07:24, 2008-Feb-18
.. Link
http:www.secretbookofpoker.com Charges have been leveled at Jack Ault for information included in his recently released book, Secret Book of Poker. Racism charges have been directed at the author of the new poker book. According to a couple of readers, Secret Book of Poker includes passages that deal with what Jack calls cultural differences and their affect on poker play. But that some readers have attributed to nothing more than racism. Jack does in the beginning of the book, explain that he will insult most readers, but that any reference to races were not meant to be disparaging. He lays out solid reasons why he believes that certain races perform certain ways at the poker table. At first glance there is some reason to think that the information could be taken in a less than positive way. But the marketers of the book about winning poker stand behind the author and the contents of the book. Whether or not the book has shades of racism is in the eye of the reader according to the publisher. There is some acknowledgement that some people might perceive the information in this light, but Jack assures readers that his intention behind including the controversial material is strictly within the confines of what happens at the poker table. The book does not just address one group, but several. According to the author, different peoples approach the game of poker differently. He lays out his observations in a concise and non-judgemental way. Unfortunately in todays world, comments of any sort that cast an unfavorable shadow over any ethnic group is looked down upon. Regardless of the intention it just is not tolerated by most people. That being said, the information relayed in Secret Book of Poker is set out with no malice according to Mr. Ault. He claims to have friends of all ethnic groups. He says what he put in his book is fact and nothing else. Just valuable poker information that taken seriously will make almost anyone a winning poker player. He regrets that anyone would challenge his impartiality and his tolarence toward anyone, regardless of their differences. Not all people who have read jack's book have concerns about racism. They seem to appreciate the insights that the book's content gives them. Some readers have already managed to improve their game and say they are glad they bought the book. Only time will tell if the information proves to be worthy and the racism charges slowly drift away. The jury is out and the chips will end up telling the story. Pokerman Can't Win Em' All

As the title says, you can't win em' all. Byron, who has been on fire for quite sometime, ran into a brick wall tonight. We both played in No-Limit Games and each had a losing session. I dropped $240 and Byron dropped $680. He got three hands beat that sent him home. Three hands that he went in with the best hand, but came out on the losing end. That happened each time on the river, by players who were, let's say, not playing the best cards. But that is what you typically want. Players playing bad hands. It's just the nature of the game on any given day, some yahoo is going to win. The cards just come out that way. There is nothing you can do. I got beat once going in and the other time, both of us had trip Aces, me with King kicker and my opponent with an off suit 4 kicker. He hit a 4 on the river and filled up after I put him all in......but that's the way it goes. Key to being a Winning Poker Player is cut your losing sessions as lite as you can. My wins have been in the $700 range. So my losing $240 in a session is reasonable. As is Byron's numbers in relation to each other. Lose $680...but win in the range of $1500. Now Ronald is another story. I said we would meet him. Tonight is as good a time as any. Ronald has not read Secret Book of Poker. Ron is a very smart guy and a pretty good poker player. But he has one thing going against him. He is an ACTION JUNKIE! He can not control himself, and as a result, he plays way too many hands. He wins alot of them and loses alot of them. Where he really goes wrong is his winning pots are almost always smaller than his losing pots. If Ron were to read Jack Ault's book and put into practice as Byron and I have done, he could maybe get away from the Action Junkie status and move over into the winner's column. But he isn't interested and we are not going to force him. After all we play with him a lot and if he is going to give his money away, then we might as well take it. Somebody is going to do it. It doesn't matter what level he plays at either. He can't stay away from the action period. Be it a $3-6 limit game or no-limit. Actually he is really bad at the lower limit levels. I have seen him lose $1,000 in a $3-6 game before. It took him about 18 hours to do it, but he did it anyway. He has done some amazing things at the $3-6 game. Once he got $1300 in and actually came back and only lost $200. His wife had to go get him the next day from the casino. All of the guys he went with, went home around midnight the night before. She was not a happy camper. There happen to be a lot of guys like Ron in the poker world. The key is to find them and then drop the hammer when possible. The guys you want to be wary of and stay away from are guys like Byron. He doesn't lose often and he doesn't lose large amounts. But he will clean your clock if you let him. Good for him, there are plenty of players that will do just that. Byron hits it Big
01:01, 2008-Feb-5

http:www.secretbookofpoker.com I know I said we'd meet Ronald this next time out, but there's really exciting news in Byron's world. On Super Bowl Sunday, Byron played in a No-Limit Texas Holdem tournament in northern Cakifornia and placed first! He took home $4500.00. Remember I said that he wasn't into playing tounaments anymore unless it was small buy in and for fun. Well, this tournament was a free roll for players who had 50 hours logged of live play. So he thought it would be fun to go ahead and play since there was no cost for him to get in and play before the Super Bowl. It's really exciting to see what players are doing with jack's information and playing method. It doesn't stop here either. I heard from Byron today and he told me that he went back to the Casino on the 4th, and played in a $50-200 No-Limit Texas Holdem live game. He described how things went, covering a few hands...how they played out, and how he used what he learned in Secret Book of Poker. He started out with $140.00 when he sat down. A few hours later when he got up and cashed out, his chip stack was worth $1940.00. He won an astounding $1800.00 in a live holdem game in one of the Indian Casino Poker Rooms located in N. Cal. So that with his most recent ups and downs this last week or so, added to his most recent score, brings his bankroll up to $8000.00. That doesn't include his tournament winnings. Add that to his roll and you get a pocket of cash that is over $14,000.00. There is a couple of smaller tournament cashes included in the total. Not bad for a journeyman poker player, who picked up a book and after reading it, was inspired to change his game and become a part time poker pro. Ronald played with Byron in the tournament, and he cashed by finishing I think Byron said 6th or 7th. I promise we will meet Ronald soon. It was just such exciting news from Byron that I wanted to cover it this time. May your cards be live.....and your opponents loose and Rich! Pokerman
Latest on Byron

What's the latest on Byron, our poker playing part time pro? Remember last time out we discovered that Byron had taken a bankroll of $500 and run it up to $5000. Again he did this after being tutored by Secret Book of Poker author, Jack Ault. Prior to this coaching, Byron was a good player, but not pro caliber based on his skill level. But once Jack got him up to speed, he has had an amazing rebirth of sorts. Where does he stand today? Well, he had a good week. His fund has risen to $6400. He played 3 times last week, and took home $1400 over all. Two winning sessions and one losing. The losing session was to the tune of <$125.00> but the 2 winning sessions brought home $1525.00. He was playing $200-$600 No-Limit holdem. As I said before, Jack has transformed Byron into a very feared and respected player. That translates into some nice money for Byron. Will he keep this pace up, I don't believe so, just because of the vagaries of the game. But I am sure he will continue to climb. Just not at this rate. I could be wrong, but those are some lofty results to expect to continue. The information in Jack's book is powerful. It's not just the words, but how everything is laid out and how it all fits together. Byron swears by it. And has the bankroll to back it up. I have played with Byron for years and have never seen him play this well and make this kind of money. It's very exciting to see. I haven't said much about my own experiences, nor do I plan too. I will say that I have to come to know Jack and have read his book. My game has improved immensely and I am now playing better and making more money at the tables than I ever have before. I was going to go into Ronald's game and behavior, but since I was sick with the flu this last week, I'm going to put that off till next time. This is a bit off topic for me. But I believe this is going to be a great opportunity for a lot of people with websites. Check out the link on the right or click here right now. The way it works, is you put a snippet of code in your website, and everytime someone clicks on your site, they hear a 5 second commercial. The advertisers are assigned to you based on your site's subject matter. Just a 5 second blurb and they're gone. A very easy way to make money, with no effort on your part. Short 5 second Audio Ads. This is going to be huge once it catches on, and I believe it will. There is an affiliate program that can help a lot people also. I'll make this short, as it's off topic for me. That's what they call him. The poker players that were victimized by Byron. It was early in the days of the Indian casinos. They just started popping onto the scene here in northern California. There were no shortage of poker players at the time, and many of them were Hispanic. The Mexican lads would show up at one of the local Indian poker rooms in bunches and loved playing ,trying to out macho each other at the poker table. It was all friendly, but as a result, the games were amazingly wild. Byron was an experienced poker player, learning and developing his level of skill at a weekly home game. So he was an above average player. He too started showing up at the local casino poker rooms and did fairly well. But when the Mexican players showed up and turned the games into a betting fest, Byron sat back, played very concervative till he got a good hand and then dropped the hammer on them on the river. The pots were big and Byron was killing them. Again the games were very friendly, but crazy. No big limits, All 2-4 Limit Holdem. This was in the early times before No-Limit became so popular. Higher limits hadn't spread as of yet either. Byron and I walked into a casino card room, and as we passed by an on going 2-4 Texas Holdem Limit game, one of the Mexican players shouted out something in Spanish. We didn't have a clue what he said. But standing nearby was a friend of ours, that was bilingual, and he said , He just said, "Look out, the Coyote is here." Now he wasn't talking about me, I was sure. I had taken my fair share out of the games, but not like Byron had when it came to the Mexican players. So that's how he acquired the moniker of 'The Coyote'. Let's speed the clock ahead to present day. After Byron's consulting with Jack Ault, a 20 year professional player, Byron decided to become a professional player. Now he was going to approach the game from a pro's perspective, eventhough it was going to just be part time. You see, Byron has 27 years in on his job, and in 3 years he can retire and play full time. But Jack told him, he could still play as a pro, but he'd just have to be carefull and be very disciplined. In addition, Byron promised his wife, he'd finish out his career, before he took to the tables on a full time basis. The first thing Jack advised him to do, was put together a bankroll. An amount of money, set aside just for poker....win or lose. So Byron set up a poker fund of $500. Doesn't seem like a lot, but it was enough to get started. Based on changing his game according to Jack's direction, Byron has run his bankroll uo to $5,000.00 And that's not counting his tournament money won. His results have been so good, he doesn't play many tournaments anymore. An occaisional tournament, usually for fun, at a small buy-in, where the pressure is very slight. We will start checking in with Byron and following his results at the tables. I think this week will be a good place to start. he is playing in a local card room tonight. So we should know by tomorrow how he has done. But we will wait till the end of the week to see how he does for the week. Our next installment will look into the world of Ronald. We'll do that probably just before the weekend. Stay tuned....and may your cards be live and your opponents loose and rich! Pokerman Meet Ron and Barney

Ronald and Byron are the two Poker players we will be monitoring. I won't use their last names, as I don't want to embarass them or enlarge their egos either. They are to say the least, two good poker players. Both gentlemen are intelligent, affable and quite articulate. Both have a great sense of humor. In fact they are friends, and have a good time chiding and teasing the other, at and away from the poker table. They are real individuals. Both married, one in his early sixties and the other in his mid fifties. I have played poker with both of them. with just one and then both of them at the table. I have lost hands to both and have beaten both at nearly the same time. The only difference between them basically, is one is a winning player and the other is a losing poker player. I'm speaking of their results in the long run. Both are capable of a big night, both ways.....winning and losing. It's just that one will win much more than the other one on a good night, and the other one will lose much more than the other one. That's essentially what separates them and their over all results. Ronald and Byron have both read quite a few poker books and as a result, their game has gotten better. But just understanding hand values and game rules aren't enough. Some overall strategy has helped, which they both have gleaned from books written by recognizable poker pros. But as Byron has stated many times, until he hooked up with Jack Ault, a 20 year professional poker player, his game floundered at a certain level. And that was a level that was not producing positive results. He was a good player, but not a feared player, nor was he a winning player in the long run. He'd have a good night or two, then a long run of bad nights broken up by the occasional win here and there. Ronald on the other hand, is still floundering. He has not been able to turn his game around. But he has not consulted or been taken under the wing of Jack Ault. He is still just running on the information he has been able to pickup from the pro's books that he has read. Obiviously that has not been enough to turn his game around. I have seen Ronald win $200-$300 in a night playing at a 3-6 Texas Holdem table. But I have also seen him lose $600 at the same game, just a different night. Now when you lose over a $100 in a 3-6 game and continue to play, you are a bone-fide loser. There is no other way to put it. Everyone has a losing night. I don't care how great a player your are, you are going to at one time or the other, run into a bad run of cards. If you are not prepared for that eventuallity and have a plan ready, then Katy bar the door, cause you are never going to be a winning player no matter how many poker books you read. That's just the plain old truth! There is not a lot of difference between winning and losing, but just that little difference can make a huge difference in your results over the long haul. I have ridden home from the casino with Byron and Ronald a few times, and marveled at their conversation. One would talk about a situation that had occured at his table, and the other one would chime in, saying that he faced almost the same situation at his table. But invariably, the results for both of them were diametrically opposed. One won, and the other sent his chips off to another player. So there you have a basic view, albeit a small one, into the world of Byron and Ronald. Our next article will take a look at Byron's most recent adventures and his results from playing poker. I think you may find his ride an interesting one at least, if not somewhat exciting. Till then......May your cards be live and your opponents loose and Rich. Milfredo Entering the poker world

We are going to explore the world of poker. There isn't any part of poker and poker playing we won't cover. We are even going to monitor the world of two poker players that I know. One that I have tutored and has read the book 'Secret Book of Poker'. And one who has not read the book. Nor has he been tutored by me. Both players have been playing for quite a few years. Neither have been overall winning players, but both have an average to above-average ability. One of them is now a winning player and the other is and isn't, depending on who he is playing with and which games are being played. Poker, as many people know, has exploded over the last 5 years. Ever since Chris Moneymaker won the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas about 5 years ago, participation in the WSOP tournaments has sky rocketed. Two years ago, the main event drew a record 8,000 plus players, all coughing up $10,000 entry fee. Also as a result, the number of poker books has exploded as well. Books by the most well known top pros have flooded the market. Unfortunately, most are fluf pieces meant for the commercial market. Almost all of them cover the same subjects. Just presented by a different pair of eyes. Can you take the information in them and become a winning player? Probably not. You will become a better player most likely, but become a consistient winner.......NO. So what's it take? Someone who knows what they are talking about, to take you under their wing and coach you. If you watch any of the major tournaments that are televised, you will hear players mention that they have been taken under the wing of Johnny Chan, or Barry Greenstein or others. Jaime Gold, who won the largest main event in WSOP history, gave credit to Johnny Chan, who tutored him. In fact, during the filming of the final table, on his way to winning the final, Jaime left the table to go to the rail and consult with Johnny. As you may have heard before, "It's who you know in this world." Will everyone make it to the WSOP or make it onto a televised final table in a major poker tournament. Obviously the answer is a big fat NO! But that doesn't mean that you can't become a winning poker player. One of our featured players we are going to follow, read the book offered at http//:www.secretbookofpoker.com and has used the principles and information included in the book to become a feared poker player. What he has accomplished in a short time, has been pretty amazing. And he is playing in small poker rooms in northern California. Will we make those who read this blog a winning player? Not really. but we will expand almost everyone's knowledge. And that is important in and of it's self. Any time you gain knowledge, you become a more well rounded person.
