Having spent half my working life in the British Army, and some of the second half in business consultancy - which is ongoing - I was determined to surpass the capabilities of my children in the use of the Internet. This I believe I have done, though they might not agree! My blog is centred (British spelling!) around Software and Technology, but will range from laptops and PCs, accessories, through to financial matters and how software can help. Software and technology seem to be the driving forces for so many in business today. Science and technology when packaged with free software downloads - particularly free updates for all types of software including tax software, mac, antivirus and kiosk software - can place great demands on software development. New technology is often very aggressive in the exploitation of software, and science and technology need to keep pushing the boundaries of progress. Big players such as Microsoft, and others driving forward both information technology in general and computer technology in particular are all looking for headline in the technology news media. We will try to do our bit too within the confines of this illustrious blog!
