Let’s continue our Minnesota education on solar electricity. It is said that five 200 watt solar panels are equal to 1000 watts or 1 kilowatt (kW) hour. One kilowatt of solar electricity that is not shaded at anytime of the year will produce around 1100 kilowatt hours per year for the aveage home in Minnesota, and we are not sure that is 2.3 children or not (that was a joke). The average home owner with a Minnesota home uses 8400 kilowatt hours per year, but it is going to vary significantly by household user, depending upon the number of wives, women and children in the home – of course, there may be multiple husbands (a joke!).
If the home is a grid connected solar electricity power system you may or may not need batteries, but this is a question to call Suntrek Industries and find out if you live in Minnesota. Of course if you live outside the state, call as well – Suntrek is here to serve.
