There is new solar news from the country of Wales. There is going to be a new solar panel manufacturing plant, manufacturing factory, being built and opened in Pencoed, near Bridgend in the wonderful land of Wales.
In a new partnership between Solar Century, a privately-held United Kingdom - London company, and Sony UK, United Kingdom, the solar panel production line will be built by Sony UK.
Solarcentury says that it plans to manufacture and sell approximately $24 million U.S. dollars in solar panels in the coming year of 2008, and it has set a goal of installing solar systems on 11,000 homes annually.
