CBS Channel 13 in Tucson, Arizona reported last night that electric cars, solar panels, and more were on display at the North Exhibition Hall at the Tucson Convention Center on Friday night. Exhibition visitors came to the Pima Association of Governments' Alternative Energy Expo for a variety of reasons.
"To bring my science fiction class to the expo to see what's actually going on with science and changing technology," said Christina Paige.
"Just have an interest in solar energy and want to learn more," Willis Loftin said.
CBS Channel 13 in Tucson, Arizona reported last night From white coating to repel the sun's heat, to solar panels to use the sun's energy, the expo shows a variety of energy conservation methods and alternative energy.
"Different kinds of fuels for vehicles, electric vehicles, solar power, wind power, and you can see it right in one place. It's a great opportunity," said Dennis Dickerson, an environmental planning coordinator with the Pima Association of Governments.
"Having more information is definitely a way of convincing people," Loftin said.
"This is the trend of the future and we'll see more and more clean energy," Paige said. |
