Dubai’s Renewable Energy Technology Sector
Here are some of the facts and figures as they relate at the United Arab Emirates.
The United Arab Emirates has one of the highest levels of solar energy consumption per capita in the world. In 2005 the average United Arab Emirates citizen consumed triple the amount of solar energy as the average German. Forecasts indicate that demand for United Arab Emirates utilities (electricity and water) will continue to grow at a minimum rate of 10% per annum until 2010. Furthermore, forecasts for Dubai indicate that demand growth will be above the national average and grow between 12% and 14% per annum until 2010 (Kuwait Times). Despite very real concerns as to whether Dubai’s Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) will be able to continue to increase capacity to sufficiently meet peak demand, renewable energy as a viable source remains extremely marginalized within the United Arab Emirates. It is time to seriously consider calling Suntrek Industries for help with your solar sector. |
