Suntrek Industries welcomes a new IPO into the solar industry as we report that solar power product manufacturer Evergreen Solar, Inc. reported Friday that it plans to spin off its new unit and have begun planning EverQ initial public offering.

It has been reported that the Marlboro, Mass.-based company (Nasdaq: ELSR) said it has approved the construction of a third integrated wafer, cell and panel facility for EverQ in Thalheim, Germany. The plant will open in 2009.

It has been reported that although a date for the IPO has not been set, Evergreen Solar said it its expanding EverQ's sales and marketing team and is preparing to market and distribute EverQ's panels under a yet-to-be determine brand name.
