Solar Hot Water – Continued – July 19, 2007
Electric Distributed Generation
Suntrek Industries’ Solar electric power systems are clean, silent, and have no moving parts to break. In solar industry utility interconnected applications, solar power systems reduce the need to move power over aging electric transmission lines. Producing solar electric power at, or near, the source from which it iis used and sending the excess solar generated power into the grid from thousands of decentralized transmission points, is helping us to change the way power and solar power is produced and distributed.
California State Cash Rebate
Suntrek Solar Hot Water systems and other solar manufacturers are happy to inform the public that the California Energy Commission is presently offering a $2.60 per watt cash rebate for solar electric systems that are connected to the utility grid for electric transmission. This is not a tax credit, this is a cash rebate for solar generated electricity.
Getting California Cash Rebates
Upon signing a sales agreement with Suntrek Industries for solar systems, equipment and other products offered by Suntrek Industries, Suntrek Industries will submit a reservation for you after receiving a deposit on your Solar Power system. Once the California Energy Commission (CEC) receives an application for an eligible solar power system, they will send you a claim form showing the rebate dollar amount reserved in your name. Once your solar power system, which will generate all the solar hot water that you need, if properly planned, has been permitted, installed, and is operational, the claim form and your final inspection approval will be submitted to the CEC for payment. Within 30 to 60 days, the CEC will mail your solar power system rebate check. This CEC rebate program is scheduled to be phased out over the next few years, so be sure to sign up as soon as possible if you are going to install a solar power system, solar hot water system or any other solar power product..
California State Tax Exemption for Solar
Solar electric systems, which includes solar power systems, solar hot water systems, etc are exempt from property tax in the state of California. Qualifying systems need to be certified by the California Energy Commission (CEC) and installed with a five year warranty. Suntrek Industries utilizes California Energy Commission (CEC) certified components in our Suntrek power systems which also comply with the National Electrical Codes (NEC).
