A few cities that are in this region of southern Utah are St. George, Cedar City, Brian Head and Parowan. These are all wonderful communities in southern Utah and all of them offer an array of things to see there. Many historical landmarks and recreational facilities are located here. Southern Utah is the gateway to many national parks and family fun.
St. George is one of the fastest growing communities in the nation. With all the amenities this city has to offer it is not surprising at how quickly this city is growing. St. George was founded in the mid 1800’s by Brigham Young. Early settlers started this community in hopes of making it to a cotton farming town. Although they grew cotton here for many years it never really established itself in the competitive market and the idea of cotton farming was eventually abandoned.
As with all of the cities in the southern Utah region, St. George offers a heavenly landscape. With its red mountains and the ancient flows of black lava it allows a peaceful commune with the environment. Snow Canyon is located in St. George and offers many trails through these black lava trails and red sandy dunes. Hikers and trail bikers alike can enjoy this park. And St. George real estate is booming.
Being the eighth largest city in Utah, St. George offers its locals and visitors an opportunity to see many things here. The Opera House, The Art Museum, The Nature Center, The Sand Hollow Aquatic Center and the ever popular Dinosaur Discovery Site are all great recreational things to do with the whole family. This friendly and family orientated community offers a large array of homes for sale in its current real estate market. St. George offers homes for every budget and any preference.
In Cedar City there is a plethora of residential and commercial real estate available. This city offers it all. For the residential home buyer cedar city has many things to do for entertainment.
