Roulette Basics

Roulette is one of the most popular table games in a casino or online.  People do not fully understand all of the other games simply because they are new, or just complicated with all kinds of different rules.  Most people that only play slots, if they want to venture to the table area of a casino, they usually and almost always end up at the roulette table.

You will notice when you are in a casino that the roulette tables are always packed.  They are also one of the oldest most long running table game other then poker in the history of gambling.  It is probable the easiest game to play and the most fun with the most action. 

If you have never played roulette before you can approach the table with just the simple basics.  As you play you may choose to learn all of the other bets you may place.  The basics to roulette are to just pick a number of your choice, or numbers from 1 to 36.  Your odds are 36 to 1.  If you hit on a number you will be paid thirty six to the amount you bet on the number.  Every table has a maximum and a minimum.  The numbers are called inside bets.  You must meet the bet requirements for your inside bets.   Also on the inside bets you don’t have to just put your money on the straight up number, but you may also section your bets to be split in many different ways.  You may corner your bets, or just simply put them on the lines that divide two different numbers. 

Some people keep track of what numbers come out on the roulette wheel.  That does not help you win.  Just because 5 came out once, does not mean that it will not come out again.  There is no way of figuring the roulette wheel out.  When playing the inside numbers you can choose to play the same numbers every time or try different numbers every time.  I find that if I do the same numbers every time I wont get mad at myself if a number that I usually play comes out when I am not playing it.  You just have to make you own strategic way of playing yourself.   

Now there are other easy bets in roulette other then the number board.  You can play black or red, that is one to one on your odds.  Same with odd or even.  These are all no brain bets.  Just put your money down and hope that this time the fifty- fifty chance comes your way.  Once again there is no way of telling what is going to come out next.  Red can come out every time.

Then you can move on to some of the more complicated bets.  There is one to eighteen,  there is first, second and third,  there is zero and double zero and so on.  You may also do a combination of all different kinds of bets, but remember, you must meet the minimum and maximum for both inside and outside bets.  You also have to make sure that your bets aren’t contradicting themselves.  Like if you choose red on the outside, you should not also choose black.  You will just break even.

Roulette is one of the fastest  table games.  People like it because there is no room to breath, and sometimes no room to even place your bet.  It is also one of the most exciting table games out there.  This is the kind of game where you can loose all of your money or win a lot of money in a matter of seconds.
