Baccarat Tips

There are many different casino games these days.  It used to just be you would walk into a casino and you would see the same basic games and slot machines.  Now when you walk into a casino you have a choice in what kind of game you will play, and what better game to play then a game that shots in your odds?  This game is called Baccarat.  If you play baccarat you will be participating in a game that is both easy and fun to learn and play with the added bonus of the odds of winning being on your side.

There are a few simple Baccarat rules and tips that you should go by when playing the game baccarat.  The goal when playing baccarat  is simply to draw a two or three card hand with the value closer to nine then the bankers hand.  When playing this game of baccarat  you must also understand the language of the cards and what they are worth.  When playing baccarat the cards have the following values; the number cards have their face values.  Ten, Jack, Queen, and King count as zero.  The ace cards count as one.  If the value of your cards is greater then ten, you then simply subtract ten, for example, a seven, nine hand would originally be sixteen, then you subtract ten and you have a six. 

So now that you no the language of the cards in baccarat it is now time to play…   Two hands are dealt, one hand for the player and one for the banker.  Prior to the deal, the player bets on whether the players hand or the bankers hand is the closest to the sum of nine.  The player also has the option to bet on the possibility of a tie. 

Baccarat is a card game that is dealt from a shoe that either holds six or eight decks.  Before the hands are dealt, bets may be placed.  Once the bets have been placed, the banker hand and the player hands are now dealt according to fixed rules, giving final hands of either two or three cards for each. 

As I had mentioned earlier the value of a hand is determined by the number of the face or addition of the cards in the hand.  Whichever hand is closer or equal to nine becomes the winner.  If both hands are equal to each other then a tie is in play.  When playing baccarat a game is started by  dealing two cards for the players hand and two cards for the bankers hand.  An initial hand with the value of eight or nine is called a “natural”.  If either hand is a natural then the holder must expose it and the game is then over.   If this does not occur then the game will go on.  First with the players hand  and then with the bankers hand. 

Rules for the players hand are as follows;  If the players first to card total six or more, then the player must stand without drawing another card.  If the players first two cards total five or less then the player must draw a third card. 

Rules for the bankers hand are as follows;   If the bankers first two cards total seven or more, then the banker must then stand without drawing a third card.  If the bankers first two cards equal zero, one, or two, then the banker must draw the third card.  If the bankers first two cards equal three, four, five, or six, then whether the bankers draws is determined by whether the player drew. 

This is a number game and there is no way to read what is going to come.  They call this a players game and not a house game.  If you enjoy luck of the lotto then this is the game for you.
