Crowd control is extremely important when ever you are at a very large event.  Such events like tradeshows and concerts need to have a very good crowd control system in place. If there is no kind of crowd control in the event all kinds of very bad things could possibly happen.  Crowd control means just that, the crowd is controlled.  

One very safe and very effective way to maintain crowd control at very large events would be to use some kind of retractable barrier or a ropes and posts system.  Even though these ideas of retractable barriers sounds like it is something that could never help with crowd control they really are a very effective tool to use. Retractable barriers are very simple in design and they are very simple to use.  They basically are used to create some kind of barrier between the crowd and something that the crowd should not be around or the crowd and a place that the crowd should not be.  This is basically what crowd control consists of.

Another thing that retractable barriers are really good for when it comes to crowd control would be to show people where to line up.  When there is a large crowd of people that must somehow all fit into one or two doorways there is usually a corral system set up in front of the doors.  This corral system is just a bunch of retractable barriers that are all set up in a path so the crowd of people can start to line up in an orderly fashion.  Almost everyone has seen this system in use before and perhaps they did not even realize that is was a method of crowd control. 

These corrals and retractable barriers have been seen in many places.  Movie theaters, some food buffets, the DMV and a number of other places use this corral system.  Almost every person has been in this crowd control system and knows that it is very effective.  By using retractable barriers in certain positions the crowd control will be maintained.  It will allow the crowd to line up in a line without pushing and shoving and people getting hurt.  That is why crowd control is so very important.  No one wants to have any kind of injury or even worse while they are in a crowd.

Crowds can get very wild and rowdy so it is necessary to guide the crowd to certain areas and to keep them away from other areas at the same time.  This is where the simple beauty of retractable barriers comes in.  By using such very simple tools like retractable barriers truly helps out with the crowd control at the event.  Retractable barriers set up to keep people out of areas and to keep them in certain areas are probably the most effective way to keep the crowd in order. 

Of course retractable barriers and other such tools can not do the job solely by themselves.  Man power is also needed.  By using man power and retractable barriers together the crowd control issue of an event should be almost eliminated.  The two tools working together keeps the crowd relatively safe.  Setting up retractable barriers in places and then using man power to make sure that the crowd follows the retractable barriers is always a sure thing.  People know usually just by seeing the retractable barriers that they should not enter an area or that they must go a certain way.  Retractable barriers show the crowd the way that they must go or the area that they must stay away from.  Throw in a little man power to enforce those and you are on your way to safe crowd control.
